Disney recently announced that Splash Mountain is going to be re-themed to the movie Princess And The Frog. Update: the ride will be called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

You will be able to join Princess Tiana and Louis as they prepare for their first Mardi Gras performance.

The Disney Imagineers have said that the ride will have amazing music and will be set in New Orleans and the Louisiana bayou. Tiana is a modern, courageous, and empowered woman who doesn’t lose sight of what is important. Update: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is expected to open in late 2024.

I am looking forward to this attraction because I like the Princess And The Frog movie and I know the Disney Imagineers are going to do a great job on this ride!

Important Disney World Theme Park News

Disney World just sent me this email explaining about how to make reservations. Now you have to have a reservation or else you can’t get into the parks.

Entering a theme park requires both a reservation and valid ticket or annual pass for admission to the same park on the same day.

My Top Five Favorite Things To Do In Adventureland

Today I will be telling you my favorite things to do in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom.

5. My fifth favorite thing to do in Adventureland is The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. On this ride you get to fly on a magic carpet and choose if you want to go up or down. My favorite thing about this ride is if you fly your magic carpet really high you have a great view of all of Adventureland! Another thing that I really like about this ride is how the camels that surrond the ride squirt water at you!

4. My fourth favorite thing to do in Adventureland is The Enchanted Tiki Room. If you are tired of being around a lot of people or just need to get away from the sun then I really recommend to try out this show. The Enchanted Tiki Room is a show with singing auto-animation birds. I really like this show because I like how unique and different it is. (If you would like to see my full review of this show click here!)

3. My third favorite thing to do is go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. This boat ride shows you what it’s like to be a pirate. My favorite part about this ride is how Jack Sparrow makes an appearance three times and there is a tiny drop at the beginning of the ride.

2. My second favorite thing to do is go on the Jungle Cruise. On this ride you get to see fake animals. I like this ride because every time it is different because of your tour guide. The tour guide tells jokes.

1.My favorite thing to do in Adventureland is to go to Aloha Isle Refreshments and get the Dole Whip! (If you would like to see my full Dole Whip review click here!) This treat is delicious! A Dole Whip is a pineapple soft serve ice cream that you can get as an ice cream or a float. The best thing about this treat is how cold it is. (If you would like to learn how to make the Dole Whip while you are at home click here!)

Next time you are in Adventureland you should try these rides, show, and treat!

My Top Five Places To Cool Off In Animal Kingdom

5. My fifth favorite place to cool off is The Lion King Show. This show is in Animal Kingdom and celebrates a Lion King celebration. It is indoors and air conditioning too!

4. My fourth favorite place to cool off is It’s Tough To Be A Bug. This is an indoor 4D show where the bugs from the movie Bug’s Life tell you what it is like to be a bug.

3. My third favorite is Caring For Giants. This is a Disney tour which means you have to reserve it and pay extra. You get to see the elephants up close (don’t worry it’s completely safe.) This tour is great if you want to cool off because you get to get away from the crowd. You also get to see where the Cast Members go behind the scenes. If you would like to see my full review click here!

2. My second favorite place to cool off is Kali River Rapids. This ride literally cools you off! You sit in a round boat with other families and you WILL get splashed with water.

  1. My favorite place to cool off is Kilimanjaro Safari. On this ride you get to see animals you would only see on a safari. This ride is great if you need to cool off because the van you are riding in is covered and while you drive in it you can feel a cool breeze. Every time you go on the ride is different because sometimes the animals do weird things and that is why I like this ride. If you would like my full review and want to hear what the animals did the times I have went click  here!

If you need to cool off in Animal Kingdom than you should definitely try these rides and shows.

Phased Reopening Of Disney Springs Information

Disney Springs reopened on May 20. I am going to tell you the safety measures Disney Springs will now be taking. The Disney World parks and Disney hotel resorts are still closed though.

You are required to wear a face covering if you are ages 3 and up. (If you are reading this I am pretty sure you are older than 3.) All the face coverings should:

  • Fully cover your mouth and nose and let you remain hands-free
  • Fit comfortably and snugly against the side of your face
  • Be secured by either ties or ear loops
  • Your face covering should be made of breathable material and either disposable or reusable

You are NOT allowed to wear a costume mask. You will also have to go through a temperature screening. If your temperature is 100.4 F or above you will not be allowed into Disney Springs and your family will not be allowed in either.

Disney Springs will now be increasing cleaning and disinfecting in public elevators, handrails, benches, tables, handles, restaurants, and more. Hand sanitizer and hand-washing locations will also be available.

Ground markings will help proper physical distancing when queuing is needed. You can also now not park in the Grapefruit garage and all the surface parking lots will be closed.

This may seem like a lot but Disney Springs is doing this so you can stay healthy. If you would like to learn more about Disney Springs reopening phase click here: https://www.disneysprings.com/reopening/

My Top Five Favorite Places To Cool Off In Magic Kingdom

Here are my favorite places to cool off in Magic Kingdom!

5. My fifth favorite place to cool off in Magic Kingdom is the Carousel of Process in Tomorrowland. The Carousel of Process is indoors and everyone can do the Carousel of Process because it is a show. The Carousel of Process is about how our technology has changed over the years and it is really fun! This show is great if you want to cool off because it is indoors.

4. The Pirates of the Caribbean is in Adventureland. It is a boat ride that shows you what it’s like to be a pirate and the pirates are trying to capture Jack Sparrow. This ride is indoors so it is perfect if you want to cool off.

3. The Enchanted Tiki Room is a show that is also in Adventureland. This show never has a line so it is a perfect place to go if you want to get away from the crowd. The Enchanted Tiki Room has audio-animation singing birds. The Enchanted Tiki Room is also indoors. If you would like to learn more about The Enchanted Tiki Room and see my full review click here!

2. My second favorite place to cool of in Magic Kingdom is the Jungle Cruise in Adventureland. (I know, Adventureland again!) On this boat ride you get to see fake animals with your tour guide. This ride is great if you need to cool off because the sun isn’t beating down on you.

I wouldn’t mess with that rhino.

Now this ride really depends on your tour guide. One time we had a great tour guide and so we enjoyed this ride. Another time we had an awful tour guide and so we didn’t enjoy our ride.

  1. Now my number one favorite place to cool off in Magic Kingdom is Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover. In this ride you get to sit back, relax, and get a great tour of all of Tomorrowland. This ride is mostly shaded and the wind blows in your face.

If you want to cool off while you are at Magic Kingdom than I would totally recommend to do these shows and rides.
