T-REX Review

T-REX is a restaurant in Disney Springs that I will be reviewing today!

Once you enter this restaurant, you feel like you are transported to a world full of dinosaurs.

While you are waiting for your food, do not forget to get up and look around because there is A LOT to see!

I had the Caesar-saurus Salad with Shrimp. My only problem is that there was too much salad dressing, so I recommend asking for dressing on the side.

My mom had the Tuscan Chicken. This dish comes with cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, honey mustard sauce, and red skinned mashed potatoes. She would recommend getting this dish.

My dad had the Fire-Roasted Rotisserie Chicken. He thought the chicken was good.

Al had the Paleo Pizza from the kids menu. You can choose to have either cheese or pepperoni pizza. He thought the pizza was delicious.

I would give T-REX 4 Mickey Bars! It’s a fun restaurant to go to for the atmosphere.

Which Is Better: Everglazed or Voodoo Doughnuts

I have talked about what are my favorite spinning rides in Disney World and Universal. Today, we will be discussing which is better:  Everglazed or  Voodoo Doughnuts?

Everglazed and Voodoo Doughnuts both sell doughnuts, but not your everyday doughnuts. These doughnuts have tons of cool and interesting toppings.

Everglazed is located in Disney Springs and Voodoo Doughnuts is located in City Walk at Universal Studios.

First, I will tell you about Everglazed. The doughnuts looked amazing!

I did have a big problem with the doughnuts from Everglazed, they are just too sweet. I felt like all the extra toppings were really unnecessary. My favorite doughnut was the Vanilla Iced with Sprinkles. The doughnuts were also really big and too expensive.

Voodoo Doughnuts is interesting as soon as you walk inside.

The doughnuts here were also really extravagant!

I thought these doughnuts were absolutely delicious! They were still warm when we ate them. I would recommend getting one doughnut each, so you do not eat too much.

The winner is Voodoo Doughnuts!

These doughnuts are cheaper than at Everglazed and overall I think the doughnuts are better. We have been to Voodoo Doughnuts three times and every time we have always been satisfied with our doughnuts.

Everglazed Review

Everglazed is located in Disney Springs and sells doughnuts!

These are not your ordinary doughnuts though. These doughnuts have all sorts of cool toppings on top, so make sure to take a lot of pictures!

Everglazed has outdoor seating.

This is the box that the doughnuts come in.

These are all the doughnuts we ordered. The doughnut with the bacon on top is called the Maple Double Bacon. It is a maple iced doughnut topped with bacon. The doughnut next to it is called the Classic Glazed. The purple doughnut is the Purple Glazed Ube. The sprinkled doughnut is called the Vanilla Iced with Sprinkles. The doughnut next to it is the Cookies and Cream. The Cookies and Cream is a vanilla iced doughnut that has Oreo cookie pieces on top as well as vanilla frosting and a big Oreo. The last doughnut is the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a cinnamon iced doughnut that has crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch, cream cheese frosting, and cinnamon sugar.

These doughnuts are really big and we had leftovers that we ate the next day. My problem with these doughnuts are that they are way too sweet.

My favorite was the Vanilla Iced with Sprinkles which disappointed me because I was hopping I would like one of the more interesting doughnuts more. If you want to get doughnuts with cool toppings, then I recommend going to Voodoo Doughnuts in Universal.

I give Everglazed 3 Mickey Bars! The doughnuts are too big and too sweet.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Review

Homecomin’ is a restaurant located in Disney Springs.

Homecomin’ serves Southern style food. The chef, Chef Art Smith, used to be Oprah Winfrey’s personal chef.

I had the Chopped Pork Barbecue. That is chopped pork barbecue with sweet and spice barbecue sauce, mac and cheese, Southern slaw, and a cheddar drop biscuit.

This was a lot of food! After we finished eating, I felt completely stuffed. I think I would have enjoyed this meal more if there was less food. The mac and cheese had too much cheese and the mac and cheese was too big.

Al had the Fried Chicken Tenders from the kids menu. His meal came with chicken tenders, french fries, green beans, and carrots. He liked the way the chicken tenders tasted.

My dad had Art’s Famous Fried Chicken. The meal comes with mashed potatoes, but he asked for the mac and cheese instead. My dad was also stuffed afterwards.

My mom had the Fried Chicken Salad. This salad has fried chicken, mixed greens, pecan smoked bacon, eggs, cherry tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers tossed in dressing, croutons, and fresh herbs. She enjoyed her meal.

I would give Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ 3 Mickey Bars. We all agreed that it was way too much food.
