I Tried Mickey-Shaped Beignets For The First Time!

If you are staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort then you have to try the Mickey-Shaped Beignets! A beignet is a donut with powdered sugar on the outside.

You will have to go to the French Quarter and go to Scat Cats Club Cafe. Here is a picture of the menu:

You can get either 3 beignets or 6 beignets with a choice of one dipping sauce. The sauce flavors are salted caramel, strawberry, and chicory chocolate ganache. You can also get specialty beignets or Mickey-shaped Beignet Sundaes. (By the way, all the beignets here are Mickey-shaped.)

I would also like to warn you that the line here can get pretty long, so be prepared.

We ordered 3 beignets and the beignets were still hot when we got them!

We ordered two sauces: strawberry and chicory chocolate ganache.

It was my first time ever having a beignet and I thought it was delicious! I did not use the sauces because I did not think it needed it, but that is probably because my beignet had a lot of powdered sugar on it. Al’s donut did not have a lot of powdered sugar on it since it was towards the bottom of the bag so he used the sauces.

I give Scat Cats Club Cafe 5 Mickey Bars!

The Best Bathrooms At Disney World

When you are at Disney World, you will have to use one of the bathrooms in the parks.

Some bathrooms are actually very beautifully decorated and themed. Today, I will be sharing with you some of my favorite bathrooms at Disney World.

I really like the bathroom in the  Norway pavilion.

The bathroom is Frozen themed. The doors are blue and the walls and floors are wood.

I especially love this flower because look how much detail was put into it.

At Magic Kingdom the Tangled bathrooms near Peter Pan are one of the best in Disney World!

The inside of this bathroom has many paintings like the ones Rapunzel painted while in her tower.

The only downside to this bathroom is that it is always crowded.

In Disney Springs, there is a restaurant called The Boathouse. While the food was good, the bathrooms deserve a visit. Just before you enter the women bathroom, you see this head on the door.

The men bathroom also has a head on the door.

The inside of the bathroom had some boats and a fish on display.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge also has really nice bathrooms. On the first floor next to Sanaa is a bathroom I really like.

I like how this bathroom looks fancy but stays with the same theme as the rest of the resort.

I know this was a weird blog article, but it is true that Disney World has decorative bathrooms. You will notice when you are there!

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-Riverside

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-Riverside is the resort I will be telling you all about today!

The resort is inspired by rural Louisiana. At Port Orleans you can either stay at Riverside or the French Quarter. We stayed at Riverside.

While we were there, Riverside was hosting The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson!

The restaurants at Riverside include Riverside Mill Food Court and Boatwright’s Dining Hall. We were lucky enough to be able to eat at both!

Here are pictures from the room we stayed in:

This is a Disney Magical Companion and it is like an Alexa. It was really fun to use and you can listen to music or take different quizzes about Disney characters and movies.

Princess Tiana even sent us a letter!

My favorite thing about this resort was definitely the outdoor area.

This resort looks even prettier at night!

I would recommend going to this resort because you have so many options on things you can do from your resort. You can go to the pool, go fishing, or ride a horse drawn carriage at Riverside.

I hope I have now convinced you to stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-Riverside!

A Beginner’s Guide To The Disney Skyliner

The Disney Skyliner lets you travel around Disney World from up in the sky!

The Disney Skyliner connects Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.

The Disney Skyliner Station at International Gateway at Epcot is also not far from Disney’s Boardwalk, entertainment district, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.

I found the inside of the Skyliner to be pretty spacious, but keep in mind that it was only my dad, brother, and me who rode.

Here are some pictures of what you see from inside.

What I found really cool is how the Skyliner has Disney themed gondolas. You could get a gondola with a Disney character or something from a Disney attraction.

Would I recommend riding the Disney Skyliner? Absolutely! It is an experience unlike any other in Disney World.

We Saw Something Unexpected While Walking To Hollywood Studios

On my last trip to Disney World, we stayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. That means that we were able to walk to Hollywood Studios from our resort.

You can take the Friendship Boat if you do not feel like walking.

We were walking and saw a big turtle!

I have never seen such a big turtle before, so I was in complete shock! When the turtle saw us, it started to hide its head.

Have you ever seen a turtle while walking to a Disney park?

Disney’s Beach Club Resort

I recently stayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and will be telling you all about this resort!

We went during Spring Break, so in the lobby there was an Easter display!

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is located next to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Both resorts share a pool and are walking distance to Epcot. If you do not feel like walking, you can take the Friendship Boat to Epcot as well as Hollywood Studios.

I would totally recommend going to the pool because there is a really big slide that looks like a pirate ship.

This resort has a lot of options for eating including Cape May Cafe, Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, Beach Club Marketplace, Ale and Compass Restaurant, The Market at Ale and Compass, and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

For breakfast, we would go to the Beach Club Marketplace. The Beach Club Marketplace has packaged sandwiches, yogurts, and salads so you can grab and go! They also have Disney merchandise.

Here are pictures from the room we stayed in:

Another thing that I really like about this resort is how the Disney Boardwalk is just walking distance. The Disney Boardwalk has restaurants, stores, and more!

Disney’s Beach Club is a great resort to stay at while at Disney World!

Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera Review

Topolino’s Terrace is located in Disney’s Riviera Resort. We went here for breakfast and today I will be telling you what it was like.

At Topolino’s Terrace you can take pictures with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. They are also in outfits that you will only find them wearing at Topolino’s Terrace!

We were first given a pastry basket. This basket had croissants, apple turnovers, and chocolate chip muffins. It also came with chocolate hazelnut, jam, and honey butter spreads.

I had the chocolate chip muffins and they were delicious. My favorite part about these muffins were the chocolate chips.

The Apple Turnover was pretty good. I am not a big fan of apple turnovers, but I enjoyed this one.

Now, lets move on to our meals!

I had the Sour Cream Waffles. You can choose to get either bacon, ham, sausage, or plant based sausage with the waffles. I had the ham. These waffles were really good, but my only problem was that there was too much cream on my waffles.

My dad had the Fruit Plate. The fruit plate has fresh fruit, yogurt, and seed granola. He thought it was delicous.

My brother had Mickey Waffle Dippers from the kids menu. This meal comes with two sides and he chose eggs and sausage as his sides. He thought that it was really cool how he could dip his waffles into the syrup.

He also had toast.

My mom had Two Eggs -Any Style. Her meal comes with a choice of bacon, ham, sausage, or plant based sausage. She chose sausage. She thought her food was good.

The coolest part about Topolino’s Terrace is the terrace.

You get a great view!

I give Topolino’s Terrace 4 Mickey Bars!

Bay Lake Tower At Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Today we will be talking all about Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

Bay Lake Tower is connected to the Contemporary Resort by an outdoor walkway that is covered.

Here is the lobby when you walk in.

Here are pictures from the room we stayed in:

We had two bathrooms. Here is the first one:

Here is the second bathroom:

This is the bedroom.

We also had our own washing machine!

Here is the view from outside the windows of our room.

You can walk over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort to eat at California Grill, Chef Mickey’s, Contempo Cafe, Contemporary Grounds, and Steakhouse 71. We ate at Contempo Cafe and Steakhouse 71. I will be reviewing both these places in two separate blog articles!

My favorite thing about the Bay Lake Towers is how it is just a couple minutes away from Magic Kingdom. You can walk to Magic Kingdom!

You can also get really great pictures at night.

Space Mountain.
Bay Lake Towers.

I think that you should stay at the Bay Lake Towers on your next trip to Disney World!

The monorail!

Landscape of Flavors Review

Landscape of Flavors is a restaurant located in Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

This was my first time ever eating at this restaurant and I am excited to be reviewing it with you! Landscape of Flavors is a quick service restaurant. That means that you order the food ahead of time and pick it up.

Al and I both had the Large Pepperoni Pizzas. We both love pizza so we enjoyed our meals!

My dad had the Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger. That is a burger with bacon, cheddar, lettuce, and a tomato. He really liked all the flavors in his burger.

The Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger comes with french fries.

My mom had the Turkey Sandwich. This sandwich has turkey, mozzarella, sweet bell peppers, basil aioli, lettuce, and balsamic vinaigrette. This sandwich also comes with french fries, but instead my mom got a salad.

For dessert, I had the Cookies ‘n Cream Sundae Cupcake. That is a chocolate cupcake with cookies and cream buttercream, rainbow sprinkles, and chocolate ears. It was REALLY good!

I would give Landscape of Flavors 5 Mickey Bars!
