Disney After Hours Is Going To Replace Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party was canceled last year because of the pandemic and we were all wondering what was going to happen this year.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will not be happening this year. Instead, the Disney After Hours BOO BASH is going to be at Magic Kingdom. It will take place from August 10th-October 31st on selected nights from 9pm until midnight. Some nights might be 9:30 pm-12:30 am.

Photo belongs to the Walt Disney World Company.

This event will let you be able to enter Magic Kingdom at 7 am and you will not need a Park Pass reservation. The Disney After Hours BOO BASH lets you wear your Halloween costume in the park! You need to wear a face mask and you can only wear a costume mask if you are under the age of 14.

This event will also let you go on more than 20 rides that have lower wait times.

Tickets for the Disney After Hours BOO BASH go on sale in June and you can get a early purchase if you are staying at a select Disney World Resort.

If more information is released about this event then I promise to tell you!

You Can Now Trick-or-Treat At The Haunted Mansion Virtually!

Yes you heard that sentence correctly!

For the first time, Mars Wringly is virtually doing trick-or-treating with there app called Treat Town app. When you download this app you will be able to create a virtual door and sign up to be either a candy giver or a trick-or-treater. Candy givers can buy candy credits and let anyone including friends or family in The United States virtually trick-or-treat at their house.

This is the app.

Pretty cool right?

If you would rather be a trick-or-treater then you can virtually visit friends’ houses and receive candy. You can then redeem this candy to get ACTUAL candy.

This app will also let you be able to go trick-or-treating at The Haunted Mansion!

Now until October 31, 2020 you can virtually visit The Haunted Mansion while you are at home. You can look at characters from the ride and unlock Disney costumes. New costumes are unlocked every day so you will want to keep on the look out!

You can also virtually visit other places like M&M’s New York, M&M’s Racing, the Snickers House, and Skittles Rainbow.

I think this is a great way to enjoy Halloween without leaving your house! Happy Halloween!!

You Can Wear A Costume In Magic Kingdom

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party may be cancelled but in Magic Kingdom starting September 15-October 31, 2020 anyone can wear a costume.

It used to be that you could only wear a costume if you are under the age of 14. If you are 14 or older though you are still not allowed to wear a costume mask. You are still required to wear a face covering.

Disney also announced that from September 15-October 31, 2020 fall decorations and Halloween festivals will return. Mickey, Minnie, and friends will be wearing Halloween costumes, Chip N Dale will be in costumes in Frontierland, and other Disney characters will be dressed up while riding horse drawn trolleys down Main Street U.S.A.

There will also be themed treats, themed photos, and more!

Disney World Has Canceled Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has officially been canceled this year.

If you have already bought a ticket for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party you can get a refund. Disney H2O Glow Nights is an event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon that will also be canceled. You can also get a refund for that event as well.

Disney has said that changes are coming to the 2020 Epcot’s Food And Wine Festival as well as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas. I will tell you about those changes in different blog posts so keep on the look out!

How Disney Stays Ahead Of Its Competition

Disney does have competition and I will tell you how they stay ahead of their competition.

First off, it’s Disney’s merchandise. They always have merchandise for special events like Christmas or Halloween.

Disney also has different collections so if you have, for example, an Imagination Pink Loungefly backpack then you probably want to match with the same color pink hat, shirt, and water bottle.

The Imagination Pink collection!

The merchandise is really expensive and Disney is making a lot of money because they have the merchandise in different colors.

The Rose Gold Collection!

Another way Disney is ahead is the Cast Members. The Cast Members (the people who work in Disney World) are always friendly and in a good mood. This is not the case in other amusement parks. In Universal they have friendly people too but besides Disney World and Universal other amusement parks just do not have very friendly people. The people that work at other amusement parks always look annoyed and like they don’t want to be there. Friendly cast members are very important because if a person has a good interaction with a cast member then they will want to come back to Disney World or Universal.

Disney is also constantly updating its parks by adding new rides. If, for example, you’re a big Star Wars fan then you probably want to go to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. Then you will make the long journey to Disney World and Disney gets a lot of money! While we are on the topic, Rise of the Resistance opened on December 5.

Other rides that are coming are Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Train in the spring of 2020 in Hollywood Studios, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is coming next summer in the France pavilion, and Beauty and the Beast Sing Along debuts January 2020.

These are a few ways that Disney stays ahead of its competition.
