Al’s Ranking of 5 Spinner Attractions

Today we are going to rank 5 spinner attractions at Universal Studios Orlando and Disney World.

5. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Magic Kingdom. I feel like the carpet ride isn’t great. When I’m on the ride, I don’t feel too much like I’m on a magic carpet.

4. Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Magic Kingdom. A cool ride that you can pick your elephant and the elephant flies like Dumbo.

A flying elephant!

3. Kang and Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl in Universal Studios Orlando. I like the theme that the monster catches you and makes you do stuff.

Scary! Not really.

2. TriceraTop Spin in Animal Kingdom. I like dinosaurs and it is related to the Dinosaur ride. I like how it can be tilted.

1. One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish in Islands of Adventure. This is my favorite spinner ride. I like how you can get wet and it gives you directions to not get wet.

Don’t get wet!

My Top Five Favorite Rides In Animal Kingdom

Here are my top five favorite rides in Animal Kingdom.

My favorite ride in Animal Kingdom is Dinosaur. On this ride you go back in time to bring back the Iguanadon dinosaur. I like this ride because the seats are very comfortable and it’s an exciting ride.

My second favorite ride is Kilimanjaro Safari. You get to experience seeing animals you wouldn’t see every day and every time you go on the ride, something different can happen. These are the reasons why I love Kilimanjaro Safari so much. ( For a Kilimanjaro Safari Review click here! )

My third favorite ride is Kali River Rapids. On this ride you WILL get wet. You are seated in a round boat with other families and there is one big drop. My advice is to wear a poncho. Well, unless you want to get wet.

My fourth favorite ride is It’s Tough to be a Bug. This is a 4D show where you learn what its like to be a bug. ( I know it’s not a ride but I had to include this one! ) The bugs from the movie Bug’s Life help you along the way.

My fifth favorite ride is Primeval Whirl. This ride is located in Dinoland and spins around a lot. The problems with this ride is that it jolts a lot and spins enough to make you dizzy. The good thing about this ride is I love how fast it goes.

Christmas Will Be At Animal Kingdom

Disney World has announced holiday overlays and entertainment will be coming to Animal Kingdom during Christmas. I think it is exciting that Animal Kingdom will have decorations in every land.

Discovery Island will be filled with holiday decorations and luminaries on the roof, wire frame bird-shaped lanterns, and themed garland. Also, there will be festivities for the daytime and nighttime.

During the night the bird lanterns and rooftop luminaries make a glow through Discovery Island. The iconic Tree of Life will have winter tales. During the day Discovery Island will have sculpted puppets.

In Dinoland your favorite Disney characters will be playing Donald’s Dino-Bash. You will also be able to ‘Round the Truck-O-Saurus.”

In Animal Kingdom’s Asia, the theater district has been decorated for Diwali. Diwali is the holiday festival of lights in India.

The village Harambe in Animal Kingdom’s Africa will have western traditions with the colors and textiles of African celebrations. At Tusker House, Mickey and his friends will have a holiday overlay.

Finally, let’s head over to Pandora. There will be decorations at Pongu Pongu with pieces made from the Earth. It will begin November 8, 2019.

This news is exciting and puts you in the mood for Christmas!

Dinosaur Ride Review

Height Restriction: Must be 40 inches

What I Like About It

Dinosaur is a ride at Animal Kingdom with many scary dinosaurs.  The ride is exciting and lots of fun.  The goal is to find the Iguanadon dinosaur to bring it back with you, but everything goes wrong.  There is also a hidden Mickey at the beginning of the ride.

HOLD TIGHT!

What I Don’t Like About It

The ride jerks around A LOT.  Even though you have a seat belt it still is very jumpy.  Hold the bars or a parent.
