My Top Five Places To Cool Off In Animal Kingdom

5. My fifth favorite place to cool off is The Lion King Show. This show is in Animal Kingdom and celebrates a Lion King celebration. It is indoors and air conditioning too!

4. My fourth favorite place to cool off is It’s Tough To Be A Bug. This is an indoor 4D show where the bugs from the movie Bug’s Life tell you what it is like to be a bug.

3. My third favorite is Caring For Giants. This is a Disney tour which means you have to reserve it and pay extra. You get to see the elephants up close (don’t worry it’s completely safe.) This tour is great if you want to cool off because you get to get away from the crowd. You also get to see where the Cast Members go behind the scenes. If you would like to see my full review click here!

2. My second favorite place to cool off is Kali River Rapids. This ride literally cools you off! You sit in a round boat with other families and you WILL get splashed with water.

  1. My favorite place to cool off is Kilimanjaro Safari. On this ride you get to see animals you would only see on a safari. This ride is great if you need to cool off because the van you are riding in is covered and while you drive in it you can feel a cool breeze. Every time you go on the ride is different because sometimes the animals do weird things and that is why I like this ride. If you would like my full review and want to hear what the animals did the times I have went click  here!

If you need to cool off in Animal Kingdom than you should definitely try these rides and shows.

My Top Five Favorite Places To Cool Off In Epcot

I go to Disney World in August and it is always SUPER HOT. Here is a list of my favorite places to cool off in Disney World.

5. My fifth favorite place to cool off in Epcot is Reflections of China in the  China pavilion. This show is a 360 Circle vision show that talks about China and it is indoors! Update: the show Reflections of China was updated and is now renamed Wondrous China.

4. My fourth favorite place to cool off is Mission Space in Epcot. Mission Space is a simulator ride were you get to be like an astronaut and fly in the sky.

The entrance to Mission Space.

3. My third favorite place to cool off is O’ Canada! in the  Canada pavilion. This show is similar to the show Reflections of China because it is a 360 Circle vision show. Update: the show O’ Canada! was updated and is now renamed Canada Far and Wide.

2. My second favorite place to cool off is Spaceship Earth. This ride is very relaxing and if you want you can fall asleep. Spaceship Earth takes you on a ride to see how are technology has developed from the nomads to present day.

  1. Now my absolute favorite place to cool off is the Land pavilion in Epcot. The Land pavilion is all indoors and Soarin’, Garden Grill, Sunshine Seasons, and Living With The Land are all located in it. If it is really hot while you are at Disney World I would really recommend to go to the Land pavilion because there are so many things to do.

I hope this list helps you cool off while you are at Disney World!

Isle Of Java Review

Isle Of Java is a tiny stand in Animal Kingdom.

I found a delicious snack at Isle Of Java!

It’s called Tiger Tail Chocolate Chocolate Twist!! Doesn’t that sound delicious?

When you take a bite you get a mouthful of chocolate!!! It also has orange and brown frosting on top. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!

We also bought a Mickey Mouse pretzel. It was hot, salty, and buttery.

I give these delicious treats 5 Mickey bars!!

Pizzafari Review

Pizzafari is a restaurant in Animal Kingdom.

Pizzafari has beautiful artwork all over the walls. It’s really pretty! We went back in August and I will tell you what we thought about our food.

I had a cheese pizza. It tasted just like a cheese pizza.

My mom had a pepperoni pizza. She said it tasted delicious!

My brother also had a cheese pizza but he ordered it off the kid’s menu so it was smaller.

Can you tell the pizza is smaller?

My dad ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza. He enjoyed his pizza.

Everything on the adult menu comes with a Cesar salad so we had one t0o.

All food on the kid’s menu comes with grapes and carrot sticks. We also bought a chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

I give Pizzafari 5 Mickey Bars!! We all enjoyed our food and would go back.

Caring For Giants

If you are looking for something fun to do in Animal Kingdom I recommend doing Caring For Giants.

Caring For Giants is not a part of your normal park ticket. It is a Disney tour which means you have to reserve it and pay extra. The good news is it’s not expensive. You get to see where the Cast Members go behind the scenes (I wasn’t allowed to take any pictures of the behind the scenes so if you want to see what it looks like behind the scenes you have to do Caring For Giants.)

Do you see the elephant?

Now you get to see the elephants up close and don’t worry it’s completely safe! While you see the animals your tour guides tell you more about the elephants and fun facts about elephants.

You should really do Caring For Giants because you get even better pictures of elephants than the Safari does and it makes you want to help the environment by caring for giants!

You Can Fill Out Your Own Walt Disney World Madness Bracket

I have a fun activity you can do while you are stuck at home!

You can fill out a bracket for your favorite rides at Disney World for each park. You fill out which is your favorite rides and in the end you have a winner!

I filled one out and this is what mine looks like. This is my OPINION! (Please note that I have not been on The Boneyard, Animation Experience, Maharajah Jungle Trek, Gorilla Falls Trail, Expedition Everest, Conservation Station, Rise of the Resistance, Tower of Terror, Smugglers Run, Rock N’ Roller Coaster, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Train, Mickey Shorts Theater, Canada Far and Wide, and Disney/Pixar Film Festival.)

The world champion for my bracket was Space Mountain!

Here is a link to the bracket: https://wdwprepschool.com/play-disney-world-march-madness-with-us/

Have fun!

Flame Tree Barbecue Review

Flame Tree Barbecue is in Animal Kingdom. The seating is all outdoors next to a pond with animals.

Yes, animals!

A scary thing actually happened to us 4 years ago. We were sitting outside next to the pond and this large animal walked up to our table and stared directly at me!

The bird staring me down!

Then he ate my brother’s french fries! He then apparently was in the mood for a pulled pork sandwich because he jumped on the table and ate my dad’s pulled pork sandwich!

The bird noticing my dad’s pulled pork sandwich!

My dad told the people that worked at Flame Tree Barbecue that a bird had eaten his pulled pork sandwich so they gave him another pulled pork sandwich.

Now, back in August, we had the courage to go back to Flame Tree Barbecue.

I had the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich. It was really good and I would recommend getting it. The Pulled Pork Sandwich comes with cole slaw so I asked not to have it on my sandwich. It came with beans but I did not eat them because I don’t like beans.

Looking at it makes me hungry!

My dad also ate the Pulled Pork Sandwich but his had cole slaw.

My mom ate the 1/2 chicken with cole slaw and beans.

My brother had a hot dog from the kid’s menu. (The kid’s menu is for kids 9 and under.)

I give Flame Tree Barbecue 5 Mickey Bars!!!! A bird didn’t take our food!!!

The Menu!

Izzy’s Must Do Activities at Disney World! Pin Trading Edition

I know it has been a long time since I have done my must do activities at Disney World but this one is so much fun I just had to tell you about it!

Pin Trading is super fun and a great way for you to be interactive at Disney World. First you get a Pin Trading lanyard and buy some pins. You can also buy a lanyard that already comes with pins.

This was my pin trading lanyard.

Here is a tip: buy some pins you don’t like. This will help you with your trade! Now, find a cast member with a lanyard and trade a pin with them. It’s that easy! You can also buy birthday pins or special edition pins as well. UniversalwithIzzy: Universal Studios has also started selling pins.

Now here is the problem about pin trading: the pins always fall of the lanyard because they are not very secure with the backings. I have lost many pins because they just fall off while your wearing them. Finally I have found a solution! It is called PinFolio!

The outside of the PinFolio bag!

PinFolio is a tiny bag that you can put your pins in by pushing them in. The bag zips up too so your pins won’t fall off!

You simply push the pins in!

If you are thinking about doing pin trading or have a lanyard filled with pins then PinFolio is a must get!

The second page for pins!

I bought it on Amazon. Here is a link to the PinFolio bag: PinFolio.

The pin backs go in this pocket.

I hope you consider doing pin trading because it is so much fun and they have so many cool pins you can choose from!
