If you are looking for some more Disney activities then you should definitely look on the Disney Parks Blog.
This website has a ton of things you can do! Apparently we are half way to Halloween because the Disney Parks Blog is posting recipes, merchandise, and more all relating to Halloween. You can even watch the Dapper Dans harmonize to “Grim Grinning Ghosts”.
You can also learn how to draw Spider Man.
If you like to cook they have a ton of recipes so you can make your favorite park snacks or meals at home. (If you would like to learn how to make a Dole Whip click here!)
I hope you enjoy all the activities on the Disney Parks Blog!
First I told you about how to draw Mickey Mouse and now you can learn how to make a frozen pineapple treat inspired by Adventureland! I would really recommend getting the My Disney Experience app because you can do fun activities on the app while you are at home.
First you will need to open up the My Disney Experience app. Scroll down on the home page until you see Now You’re Cooking with Disney Parks Frozen Pineapple Treat. Then click learn more.
Here is the recipe:
Only 3 steps! Isn’t that crazy!?! I am totally looking forward to trying this treat!
In the France pavilion there is a tiny stand that serves delicious crepes. This stand is called Crepes des Chefs de France.
As soon as you order the crepes they immediately start making it! It’s really cool to see how they make the crepes. Your crepe can be filled with strawberry preserve, chocolate, ice cream, or homemade hazelnut spread and chocolate spread. You can also get a crepe with just butter and sugar.
I ate the crepe with chocolate in the inside. It tasted delicious! The best part was they had just made the crepe so it was still hot when I took a bite.
My brother ate a crepe with butter and sugar. He enjoyed his crepe too.
I give Crepes des Chefs de France 5 Mickey bars!! It is a fun place to stop and get a snack while you are in the France pavilion.
Spice Road Table is in the Morocco pavilion. I went there back in August. Spice Road Table is one of my dad’s favorite restaurants in Disney World! You can sit either outside or inside. We always sit outside because you have a great view of the World Showcase lagoon.
We ate the Hummus and Imported Olives. It came with cornichons and za’atar pita bread. My dad loved it!
I had the Mix Grill Skewers on the adult menu. That is marinated beef and chicken, with garlic and fresh herbs with rosemary roasted potatoes. I always get this because it is so good!
My dad had the Lamb Sliders with hummus fries. We have been to Spice Road Table a few other times and he always gets the Lamb Sliders with hummus fries. It is one of his favorite meals in Disney World.
My brother had the chicken nuggets and french fries from the kids menu.
I give Spice Road Table 5 Mickey Bars!!! This restaurant is awesome!
Flame Tree Barbecue is in Animal Kingdom. The seating is all outdoors next to a pond with animals.
Yes, animals!
A scary thing actually happened to us 4 years ago. We were sitting outside next to the pond and this large animal walked up to our table and stared directly at me!
Then he ate my brother’s french fries! He then apparently was in the mood for a pulled pork sandwich because he jumped on the table and ate my dad’s pulled pork sandwich!
My dad told the people that worked at Flame Tree Barbecue that a bird had eaten his pulled pork sandwich so they gave him another pulled pork sandwich.
Now, back in August, we had the courage to go back to Flame Tree Barbecue.
I had the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich. It was really good and I would recommend getting it. The Pulled Pork Sandwich comes with cole slaw so I asked not to have it on my sandwich. It came with beans but I did not eat them because I don’t like beans.
My dad also ate the Pulled Pork Sandwich but his had cole slaw.
My mom ate the 1/2 chicken with cole slaw and beans.
My brother had a hot dog from the kid’s menu. (The kid’s menu is for kids 9 and under.)
I give Flame Tree Barbecue 5 Mickey Bars!!!! A bird didn’t take our food!!!
The Dole Whip is famous for its delicious taste so enjoy it while you can!
The Dole Whip is only found at Aloha Isle Refreshments in Magic Kingdom.
Now since this treat is a MUST GET while you are in Magic Kingdom there is always a line for it. Especially in the summer when it is really hot outside!
Now what is a Dole Whip? A Dole Whip is a pineapple soft serve ice cream that you can get as ice cream or in a float.
The Dole Whip is absolutely delicious!
Now when there is a long line to get a Dole Whip is there a way to skip the line? Actually there is! We order ahead of time on the My Disney Experience app so all we have to do is go to the mobile order pick up. You don’t have to wait in line!
50’s Prime Time Diner is a restaurant in Hollywood Studios. The entire inside of the restaurant transforms you to the 1950’s. They even have TV’s playing black and white shows that you can watch while you eat.
I had the Sustainable Verlasso Salmon. The salmon is seasonal so it may be different from mine when you get it. It was really good!
My brother ordered on the kids menu and ate Grandpa’s Grilled Chicken.
My dad ate Dad’s Stuffed Pork Chop. That is gouda cheese, apples, and herbs with roasted potatoes and carrots. He thought it was good but not great.
My mom ate Cousin Megan’s Traditional Meatloaf. That is a blend of beef and pork topped with tomato glaze, roasted garlic, mashed potatoes, and green beans. She thought it tasted good.
For dessert we had the No Sugar Added Cheesecake with whipped cream and a strawberry. It was pretty good.
I give 50’s Prime Time Diner 4 Mickey Bars!
The cheesecake was only okay but everything else was good.
