The last time I reviewed the food at Teppan Edo was in 2019 and you can read that review here. I recently went back to Teppan Edo and want to tell you all about my experience!
Teppan Edo is located in the Japan pavilion in Epcot. The restarant is located on the second floor of a building called Mitsukoshi Department Store. When you walk inside this building, Teppan Edo is on the left and Tokyo Dining is located on the right.
Here is what the tables look like:
At Teppan Edo, you sit with another family while the chef cooks your food in front of you.
I had Ebi. Ebi is 10 grilled shrimp with a garden salad, udon noodles, vegetables, and white rice. I first had the garden salad. The salad tasted fresh and I liked the dressing.
Our chef took a very long time to show up and start cooking. The chefs gave us free Edamame since we had to wait so long. Edamame is a soybean pod.
I had white rice. It was still hot when I ate it and it tasted good.
Next, I was given the udon noodles. These noodles were DELICOUS! The vegetables went really well with the noodles.
Finally, I was given 10 shrimp. The shrimp had a nice flavor to them.
I give Teppan Edo 4 Mickey Bars! It was really frusterating that we had to wait so long for the chef, but it was nice that they gave us free edamame. Would I recommend going here? Absolutely! It is really fun to see the chef cook your meal right in front of you.
