Another one of my must do activities at Disney World is Jedi Training. Jedi Training is a Star Wars themed show in Hollywood Studios that you can take part in. They train you how to us a lightsaber and in the end you get to fight a Sith and you get badge. ( For more information on Jedi Training click here!) Jedi Training is only for kids between 4-12 and you have to sign up for it before you do it. I recommend getting there early.

Izzy’s Must Do Activities at Disney World! Hidden Mickey Edition
Sure Disney World has great rides but did you know they have many activities?
One of my favorite activities is looking for hidden Mickey’s. Hidden Mickey’s are basically Mickey’s head and ears that are hidden on rides, shops, and even your Disney resort! They are everywhere! Hidden Mickeys are super fun to find and add a little extra magic to your trip.
Here are just some of the Hidden Mickey’s that I have found at Disney World.

Disney Raises Prices on Reusable Shopping Bags
Disney’s reusable shopping bags are just about everywhere: the parks and the resorts. They were brought to Disney World in January and the goal of these bags was to limit plastic bag use. They currently still give you plastic bags with the purchase unless you ask for a reusable bag.
Now here is the unfortunate part. The price to buy a reusable bag was raised a dollar. At first the prices were $1.00 for a small bag, $1.50 for a medium bag, and $2.00 for a large bag. Now the prices are $2.00 for small, $2.50 for medium, and $3.00 for large.
Disney has also increased the rates to buy a Disney World Annual Pass and for overnight parking for Disney World resort guests. I will post articles on those topics later.
New FastPass+ Tiers Coming To Hollywood Studios
I am so sorry for not posting recently! I was really busy with studying for Finals. My last day of school is this Tuesday and then I promise to post a lot of blog articles.
Currently, FastPass+ are separated into two tiers. Tier 1 is for the popular rides meanwhile Tier 2 is for the not as popular rides. The FastPass+ tiers that are at Hollywood Studios right now make it easy to ride a popular ride with a minimal wait time. On August 29, though, they’re going to change the tiers.
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will open in Galaxy’s Edge on August 29 but will not have FastPass+.
I think it’s a good idea to use Tier 1 on the most popular rides. For example: Slinky Dog Dash, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Mania to name a few. These rides have very long lines so you should probably use Tier 1.
Tier 2 meanwhile should be used on Muppet Vision 3D, Indiana Jones, Star Tours, and Voyage of the Little Mermaid.
The new FastPass+ tiers don’t come out until August 29, so hopefully we will get more information!
A New Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant is Coming to Toy Story Land
A new restaurant is coming to Toy Story Land!!! It is called Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant and it will be a table service restaurant.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant will be a backyard barbecue that you have been invited to by Andy and the Toy Story toys. Andy has apparently cut and taped three cardboard boxes together to make a rodeo arena.
This restaurant will be located to the right of the Toy Story Land entrance. This is very exciting!
Lightsaber Churros, Sorcerer Mickey Cakes, and More Coming to Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Below is the list of the treats available starting May 1.
First let’s start with cakes. The Minnie Mouse’s Celebration Cake will be found at Backlot Express. It will be a yellow cake with strawberry cream, along with strawberry marshmallows and topped with strawberry pearls. That’s a lot of strawberry! At Market at Pixar Place and BaseLine Tap House they will be selling… wait… Incredibles Macarons!?! Oh yeah! It will have the Incredibles theme colors of red and black and almond macarons with a mango passion filling.
Now this is what I’m most excited for: Lightsaber Churros!! These Lightsaber Churros are red or blue. You will find these delicious churros at Market at Pixar Place, Pretzel Palooza, Anaheim Produce and the churro carts all over Hollywood Studios. The Kylo Ren Cupcake will be a peanut butter and chocolate cupcake. This dark side cupcake will be at Dockside Diner and Rosie’s All-American Cafe`.

There are a lot of Verrines coming to Hollywood Studios. First there is the Raspberry Mousse Verrine. It is obviously raspberry mousse, but with more raspberries and white chocolate. This raspberry delight will be found at the ABC Commissary. The Lemon Blueberry Cheesecare Verrine will be found at Catalina Eddie’s. This will be found at Rosie’s All-American Cafe` and Backlot Express.
The New Things Happening at Hollywood Studios
Last year was a great year at Disney World but 2019 is going to be even better. Here are some things that I am looking forward to at Hollywood Studios in 2019.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be opening in the fall of 2019, though there are some rumors that it might be opening in the summer (now there is a rumor that this will not be ready until 2020!). The ride will be in the same location that used to have The Great Movie Ride. The ride will have a new technology called 2 and a half D, that is supposed to be like 3D but without the glasses, and you will be riding in an animated scene. Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy will also be opening. It will open near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and will be a show starring your favorite Cars characters in a big race. Wonderful World of Animations will open in the May of 2019 and will be a night show that is for Hollywood Studios 30th Anniversary.
And of course, the biggest new thing at Hollywood Studios will be Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. For more information on this new land, check out our prior blogs here and here.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Updates
We have some Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge updates for you!!
First off, you will be able to hear Yoda in Black Spire Outpost! The Play Disney Parks app will become a Star Wars datapad while you are in Batuu. (For more information on the Play Disney Parks app, click here!) The four key functions will be a Hacking Tool (helps interact with droids), a Translating Device to help translate Aurebesh (the written language in Star Wars), a Tuning Tool so you can eavesdrop on satellite transmissions, and a Scanning Device. The Outpost Control game will show your loyalty to either the Resistance or the First Order.
Do you know the story of how RX-24 became the DJ at Oga’s Cantina? I’ll tell you! RX-24 first flunked out of Star Tours, (for a Star Tours review click here!) then he found his way to the Battle of Jakku. He crashed on Batuu from a TIE Fighter chase and became the DJ at Oga’s Cantina.
Don’t forget that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens August 29 in Hollywood Studios!
Bo Peep is Coming to Toy Story Land Soon
Bo Peep is coming back in Toy Story 4.
Starting this summer, Bo Peep will do meet and greets with you in Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios and Pixar Pier in California Adventure. She’s even going to Disneyland Paris and the Disney Parks in Asia!
How exciting!
Toy Story 4 comes out on June 21, 2019. I do not know much about the movie, but I do know that Bo Peep has changed A LOT!!!
