Landscape of Flavors is a restaurant located in Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
This was my first time ever eating at this restaurant and I am excited to be reviewing it with you! Landscape of Flavors is a quick service restaurant. That means that you order the food ahead of time and pick it up.
Al and I both had the Large Pepperoni Pizzas. We both love pizza so we enjoyed our meals!
My dad had the Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger. That is a burger with bacon, cheddar, lettuce, and a tomato. He really liked all the flavors in his burger.
The Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger comes with french fries.
My mom had the Turkey Sandwich. This sandwich has turkey, mozzarella, sweet bell peppers, basil aioli, lettuce, and balsamic vinaigrette. This sandwich also comes with french fries, but instead my mom got a salad.
For dessert, I had the Cookies ‘n Cream Sundae Cupcake. That is a chocolate cupcake with cookies and cream buttercream, rainbow sprinkles, and chocolate ears. It was REALLY good!
I have never stayed at Art of Animation before, so I was really excited to stay here!
A cool thing about Art of Animation is that you can stay in a themed Disney room. These rooms include The Little Mermaid room, The Lion King Suite, Cars Suite, and the Finding Nemo Suite. We stayed in a Cars themed Suite.
We had two full bathrooms. Here is the first bathroom:
Here is the second bathroom:
Here are some pictures of the main bedroom.
This bed is also a table! You pull it down to make it a bed and pull it up to make it a table.
Art of Animation also has a BIG store that is full of Disney merchandise.
I would really recommend looking in this store!
The restaurant at Art of Animation is Landscape of Flavors. We ate at this restaurant and I will be reviewing it in another blog article!
I know that this was a long blog article, but I had a lot to tell you about this resort! Did I like Animal Kingdom Lodge or Art of Animation better? I liked Animal Kingdom Lodge a little more because I loved all the African designs through out the resort. I still really like Art of Animation though!
When we went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in July, we went to Sanaa for the first time!
Sanaa is a very popular restaurant that serves African and Indian inspired dishes.
We first had the Indian-style Bread Service. That is five breads that come with many different types of sauces. Sanaa is known for its bread service, so when you eat at Sanaa, I would really recommend that you get the Indian-style Bread Service.
It was so good that we wanted more bread!
I had the African-inspired Biryani with Shrimp. This dish comes with vegetables, rice, and shrimp. I love shrimp, so I enjoyed this meal.
My dad had the African-inspired Biryani with Chicken. He thought it was really good.
My mom had the Samosas which are appetizers. She thought the Samosas were pretty good.
For dessert, I had the African Triple Chocolate Mousse. That is dark chocolate from Ghana, milk chocolate from Madagascar, Orelys Blond Chocolate, chocolate almond biscuits, and strawberries. It was DELICIOUS!
Al had the Pumbaa’s Dessert Grub. He thought his dessert tasted really good.
The Mara is a restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I went to The Mara for the first time back in July and can’t wait to tell you all about it!
The Mara has indoor seating…
…and outdoor seating.
We decided to sit outside since the weather was nice. I had the Tamarind Pulled Pork Sandwich. It comes with coleslaw (on the side) and French fries. It was delicious! If you like Pulled Pork Sandwiches, you should definitely get this.
Here is a closer picture of the coleslaw.
My mom and dad shared the Braai Chicken Flatbread. The Braai Flatbread has sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, pieces of chicken, bacon, red onion, mozzarella, and Saag Dahl Ranch drizzle. They said that they really liked all the different flavors in the flatbread.
Al had the Cheeseburger from the kids’ menu.
Zebra Domes are very well know so we decided to try them. The Zebra Domes were absolutely delicious! When you go to The Mara, you should try these!
In July, we stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, there are two separate villages that you can stay in: the Jambo House and Kidani Village. We stayed at Kidani Village.
What is really nice about the Animal Kingdom Lodge is that it is really close to Animal Kingdom. That can help you get to the parks earlier and let you do more rides!
Here are some pictures of the lobby at Kidani Village.
Here are some pictures of the lobby at Jambo House.
Animal Kingdom Lodge has four restaurants. The Mara, Sanaa, Jiko, and Boma. Update: Jiko is currently closed. We went to The Mara and Sanaa. I will review these restaurants in different blog articles, so keep on the look out!
Here are some pictures from the room we stayed in.
At Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can see animals from your balcony!
I think you should definitely stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Before the pandemic started if you were staying at a Disney Resort you could use Extra Magic Hours.
Extra Magic Hours would let you gain extra hours at the Disney parks. Disney said earlier this year that they will be getting rid of Extra Magic Hours and that Theme Park Entry will be replacing it. Now, Disney has given us more details about Early Theme Park Entry!
Early Theme Park Entry will allow you to enter the Disney World parks before they open. You will need a Disney Park Pass Reservation for the park you want to go to.
Early Theme Park Entry will be available if you are staying at a Disney Resort starting October 1, 2021. The start of The World’s Most Magical Celebration.

The guest rooms at Disney’s Contemporary Resort are being re-themed to The Incredibles!
We knew that the guest rooms at Disney’s Contemporary Resort were going to be re-themed since earlier this year, but we didn’t know what they would be re-themed to.
I love all the details that are being put into these rooms that truly make you feel like your in The Incredibles movies!
The construction at the Main Tower guest rooms will be from now until September 2021. When these rooms are done refurbishments will be continuing in the Garden Wing.
The lobby at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will have “modern art pieces as well as historical, behind-the-scenes photographs of Disney’s Contemporary Resort in development and under construction.” The front desk and concierge services will be on the second floor because of the construction at the lobby from July 16th until late September 2021.
If more news is released about this resort, I will tell you!
Disney Magical Express was a transportation service for Disney guests staying at a Disney World Resort that would help guests get to their resort and the Orlando International Airport, but it will be ending in 2022. In Jaunary 2022, Mears Transportation will replace Disney Magical Express.
Reservations are required and you could start booking reservations starting May 2021, but I noticed recently that the date you can start booking reservations has been pushed back to Summer 2021.
Mears Connect is still supposed to launch in January 2021 and you can sign up to get notified when reservations open.
