I Have A Lot Of Disney News To Share With You

A lot of changes have been happening recently in the Disney World parks and resorts and today let’s talk about it.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be redecorating their Main Tower Guest Rooms from April 2021-September 2021. Online there is limited room for Disney’s Contemporary Resort guests in April because of the construction.

For Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, if you stay at a Disney owned resort you will be able to go into the Disney parks 30 minutes before they open. This is called Early Theme Park Entry. My advice would be to do a ride that usually has a long wait time.

I would ride Space Mountain.

The Jungle Cruise is getting a brand new story. It will have new adventures, humor, wildlife, and even new characters. I’m excited for The Jungle Cruise to be getting a new story because it is a great attraction!

On January 1, 2022 Disney World will discount Magical Express airport transportation services.

That is the free transportation that takes you from Disney World Resorts and Orlando International Airport. A Brightline train will take you from Orlando International Airport to Disney Springs. The Brightline Train is supposed to be ready in 2022.

I hope you enjoyed this Disney News list! We have a lot to look forward to for the Disney World Parks and Resorts!

Hall Of Presidents Is Currently Closed

Hall Of Presidents is a show in Liberty Square where you get to learn about the presidents of The United States Of America. Every four-eight years a new animatronic is added to this show when a new president is elected.

Hall Of Presidents is currently closed and will be closed until April 3, 2021. Hall Of Presidents will be closed because Disney is adding the new president of The United States of America, President Biden, to the show.

Disney will work with President Biden by recording his voice for Hall Of Presidents. Disney will also create an animatronic President Biden.

When this ride reopens, I promise to tell you!

All Four Disney World Parks Are Getting Extended Hours

All four Disney World parks are getting extended hours in the last week of January! (January 24,-30, 2021.) That means you can stay in the Disney World parks later.

Magic Kingdom’s hours will be 9 am-7pm. Before, you could only stay in Magic Kingdom from 9 am-6 pm.

Epcot’s hours will be 11 am-8 pm. Right now, the park closes at 7 pm.

Hollywood Studios will be open from 9 am to 7 pm. Hollywood Studios currently opens at 10 am.

Animal Kingdom’s hours will be 8 am-5 pm. Right now, Animal Kingdom opens at 9 am. On January 24th and 30th though, Animal Kingdom will be open from 8 am to 6 pm.

If you are going to Disney World in the last week of January, you are very lucky!

Can You Get A Hair Cut In Magic Kingdom?

The answer is yes, you can!

In Main Street U.S.A. there is a tiny barber shop called Harmony Barber Shop. Update: Due to the corona virus pandemic, Harmony Barber Shop is currently closed. This barber shop is tucked in the corner, so many people walk past it. Last time I went to Disney World in 2019, my brother and dad went to Harmony Barber Shop to get their haircut.

My brother, Al, getting his hair cut.

If you have a younger sibling who is a baby, they can get their first haircut in Disney World.

A great thing about Harmony Barber Shop is that anyone can get their haircut. It doesn’t matter how old you are. You could be a baby, kid, teenager, or adult.

This is how Al and my dad’s hair looked at the end.

I give Harmony Barber Shop 4 Mickey Bars! It is a unique experience that I think you should try, but it felt like a normal barber shop. It didn’t feel like you are in Disney World. That is why I gave Harmony Barber Shop 4 Mickey Bars.

My Top Five Favorite Things About Be Our Guest Restaurant

It has been a long time since I have done a blog article for My Top Five Favorite Things Series, so today I will be sharing my top five favorite things about Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom.

5. Be Our Guest has different menus for lunch and dinner. If you are going to Be Our Guest for lunch I think you should try the Croque Monsieur. A Croque Monsieur is a ham and cheese sandwich. I had it when I went to Be Our Guest for lunch two years ago and I thought it was delicious!

The Croque Monsieur.

4. For dinner at Be Our Guest I had the Filet Mignon.  It comes with green beans, carrots, and potatoes. This is delicious and I would recommend trying this if you are going to eat dinner at Be Our Guest.

3. I love how if you are eating in the ballroom it looks like it is snowing outside!

It’s hard to tell in this picture, but it looks like it’s snowing.

2. Last time I went to Be Our Guest I absolutely loved my dessert! For dessert you always get the Dessert Trio Platter. The Dessert Trio Platter includes a macaron filled with raspberries inside, white chocolate cup (it’s edible!) filled with the grey stuff with crisp pearls, and dark chocolate truffle that is filled with dark chocolate ganache.

You even get a picture of a rose and “paint” to color the picture. Except it’s not paint, it’s actually frosting that you can eat! You can eat the picture when you are done painting it.

The “paint”.
  1. The best part about Be Our Guest is how you can choose to eat from three themed rooms. You can eat in the ballroom, the Beast’s room, or the library. This is really cool because you feel like you are actually eating in Beauty and the Beast’s castle.
This is in the library.

Be Our Guest is my favorite restaurant in Magic Kingdom so if you are looking for a place to eat in Magic Kingdom for lunch or dinner, then you should go to Be Our Guest.

Izzy’s Top Five Must Get Snacks At Disney World

Disney World is home to some amazing snacks! Here is a list of five snacks in Disney World I think you should definitely try. All of these snacks are 5 Mickey Bars.

5. I really enjoyed the Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist at Isle of Java. As soon as you bite into this treat you get a mouthful of chocolate. The outside has orange and brown frosting. I think you should try the Tiger Tail Twist while you are in Animal Kingdom.

4. The crepes in the France pavilion are really good! What is really cool about these crepes is as soon as you order your crepes they start making them. Last time I went to Disney World, I had the chocolate crepe. When I bit into it, it was still hot. You can get different flavor crepes at Crêpes des Chefs de France .

3. School Bread is a delicious snack in the Norway pavilion. School Bread is a sweet roll with a custard filling and dipped in coconut. School Bread is amazing! You can find this treat at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe .

2. You should get the Dole Whip! A Dole Whip is a pineapple soft serve ice cream. I don’t like pineapple, but somehow I think the Dole Whip is delicious. You can get the Dole Whip at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom.

  1. I of course recommend getting the Mickey Bar! A Mickey Bar is a frozen vanilla ice cream with a hard chocolate shell on the outside shaped like Mickey’s face and ears. This is a very popular snack at Disney World and you can buy it at any ice cream cart in Disney World.

I hope this list helped you find snacks to buy on your Disney World trip.

Park Hopper Option Is Coming Back To Disney World On January 1st!

The Park Hopper option is currently unavailable due to the pandemic, but it is coming back!

You will be able to visit Animal Kingdom….

Starting January 1, 2021 if you purchase a ticket or annual pass with Park Hopper benefits you can visit more than one park in one day. This is great news because right now you can only visit one park in a day.

…. and finish the day visiting Epcot!

As Disney World continues its phased reopening, I will tell you about what is coming back to the Disney World parks!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Is Canceled This Year

Just like how Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party was canceled, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas will also be canceled.

Every year at Disney Resorts you can see amazing gingerbread displays but this year you will not be able to see those displays. In Epcot, the famous Candlelight Processional will be canceled this year. A celebrity would host the event and tell the Christmas story with a choir and fifty piece orchestra.

The Candlelight Processional.

Here is a list of all the modified Christmas plans from now until December 30, 2020.

All over the Walt Disney World Resort you can see some festive decorations, themed merchandise, seasonal food, drinks, and entertainment. Each Disney park and Disney Springs are all focusing on the holidays. Santa Clause is also having special appearances.

At night, Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom has projection effects. Cinderella’s Castle changes into different designs that are rotating such as a Christmas sweater and gold, red, and green ornamentation.

Not everything is canceled. Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays and Disney Springs’ Christmas Tree display are coming back! Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays is coming back on November 27, 2020. Joyful! inside World ShowPlace and Voices of Liberty at the American Gardens Theater Stage will be returning.

Even though Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is not happening this year, at least you can enjoy the Christmas decorations and more at Disney World!

The Muppets Are Back For Christmas!

At the end of last year, The Muppets Present Great Moments of History show was closed. The Muppets came back earlier this year for President’s Day Weekend and they are now back again for Christmas!

The Muppets Present Great Moments of History was a show in Liberty Square where the Muppets would sing songs and sign The Declaration of Independence.

This time, instead of singing songs about Independence, the Muppets are singing “Jingle Bell Rock”. Gonzo and his chickens are now shaking jingle bells. The paneling below The Muppets is red, green, and decorated with candy canes and Christmas trees. I think this is a great idea to bring back the Muppets because they were such an important part of Liberty Square.

Be sure to see the Muppets while they are in Liberty Square and take a lot of pictures!
