FastPass+ is going to be discontinued in Disney World and Genie+ will be coming to Disney World.
What is Genie+? Genie+ will offer you different levels of services that will help you plan an itinerary that is personalized.
The basic Genie service will be free to everyone that is going to Disney World. It will be available through the My Disney Experience App for Disney World.
Disney Genie will have:
- Itineraries that are personalized and Tip Boards.
- Future Wait Times.
- Virtual Assistants.
- Restaurant Wait List, Check-In, and Reservations.
- Mobile Order.
- Attraction Virtual Queues.
The next level of the service is called Disney Genie+. This will replace FastPass+. FastPass+ was a free service while Genie+ will be paid. Disney Genie+ will cost $15 per ticket per day in Disney World.
Disney Genie+ will have:
- Lightning Lane. This will be the replacement of the FastPass queue.
- Disney World Disney Photopass Augmented Reality Lenses.
- Audio Experiences.
We don’t know the exact day this service will launch, but we do know it will launch this fall.
