Disney World Will Be Closed Due To The Coronavirus

Disney World has announced they will be closed due to the Coronavirus.

Disney World will close on Monday, March 16th and will stay closed until the end of the month. Resort hotels, Disney Springs, and Disney World Golf Courses will remain open though.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort will stay open.

If you had a ticket for a date on or before March 31, 2020 than you will be able to change that date through December 15, 2020.

Now what about Disney After Hours, Disney Villains After Hours, and Disney Early Morning Magic? They will be automatically refunded for dates March 16, 2020-March 31, 2020.

If you are an Annual Passholder, Disney will extend your expiration date by 15 days. Click on this link for more information from Disney’s website.

Beauty and the Beast Live On Stage Review

Beauty and the Beast Live On Stage is in Hollywood Studios.

It is a musical outdoors (there is a cover and tons of fans) that tells the story of Beauty and the Beast.

If you are looking for something to do then you should go to Beauty and the Beast Live On Stage because it will take you out of the heat. Even though it is outside, it is under a cover and has fans.

Beauty and the Beast Live On Stage has a lot of singing and dancing too!

The best part about this show is that it NEVER has a line so you don’t have to wait to see it.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad Is Now Open

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad opened today, March 4, 2020 in Hollywood Studios.

This attraction is in the Chinese Theater. This ride is a BIG deal because this is Mickey and Minnie’s first attraction!

I will tell you a little more about the ride. First, when you walk inside the Chinese Theater you are going to see Mickey’s newest short, Perfect Picnic. Then, Goofy pops out off the screen and invites you to join him on a train trip. Along the way you will meet a new character named Chuuby who is destined to be a fan favorite.

Keep a look out for Hidden Mickeys! Micky and Minnie’s Runaway Railway has the largest collection of hidden Mickeys in the whole WORLD!!

A Beginner’s Guide to the 2020 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

This year the 2020 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will be from March 4-June 1, 2020.

Last year I wrote about the 2019 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival and it is that time of year again! If you are going to Disney World during these dates then you will be seeing some amazing gardening work that makes the plants look like Disney characters!!

Of course new characters will be making an appearance! Remy will be the centerpiece for a brand new Ratatouille Garden in the France pavilion.

Every night you will see new and classic music artists performing during the Garden Rocks Concert Series.

Also, don’t forget to go to the Butterfly House located between the Imagination! pavilion and Soarin’ Around the World. All the butterflies are native only to Central Florida in case some escape and they will not endanger themselves or other natives.

I hope you will get to see the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival because it is really cool to see.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy Review

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy opened in March of 2019 so we went on it for the first time in August.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is an indoor show where Lightning McQueen teaches you how to be a race car driver.

There is a twist though. Want to find out what the twist is? You will have to go to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy to find out!

The show is super fun and everyone in the family will enjoy this ride. Tip: if it’s raining outside then you should definitely do this show since you will be out of the rain, but it WILL be crowded.

The only complaint I have is when we went it was really crowded and there was a long line.

Be prepared to wait in line since Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is new!

New Passholder Magnets For Disney Passholders

If you’re a Disney Passholder then you can get new Passholder Magnets from March 4-June 1, 2020.

The magnets are for the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.

The first new magnet is a Donald Duck Passholder Magnet with Spike the Bee. This magnet is available from March 4-April 19, 2020.

The second magnet is a Orange Bird Magnet. Isn’t he adorable!?! The magnet is available from April 20-June 1, 2020.

The two magnets are going to be available online and in Mouse Gear. (Mouse Gear is a huge store in Epcot that is being temporary located to the front of the park) If you are going to go to Mouse Gear to get these two magnets your parents must show their valid annual pass and photo ID to receive the magnets.

Cinderella’s Castle Will Be Getting A Makeover In Honor Of The Movie “Cinderella” Anniversary

The Walt Disney Company has just announced that Cinderella’s Castle will be getting a makeover in honor of the movie’s 70th anniversary.

What will the castle look like? According to one artist the castle will be light pink, blue, and gold. So far there is no date that the makeover will be done but it will start soon and still be happening in the summer.

This is all the information we know so far but maybe we will get more information soon!

The Muppets Have Returned To Magic Kingdom for President’s Day Weekend

Yes, the Muppets are back for President’s Day Weekend!

For those of you that don’t know The Muppets Present Great Moments of History was a live show you could watch in Liberty Square. The Muppets would sing songs and sign the Declaration of Independence. Unfortunately, this amazing show closed a couple months ago.

Now though, for President’s Day Weekend, you can watch the live show again! It will only be for a limited time so go over to Liberty Square to see the show this President’s Day Weekend!

Beaver Butt Soap, Dog Team Drool Soap, and more at Trading Post Refreshments

In August I went to Trading Post Refreshments in the Canada pavilion and you will not believe what I found!

Soap!!!! It isn’t just the same soap you find at the store though. The first soap I found was Beaver Butt soap. Yes, you heard me correctly, I said BEAVER BUTT!!!!!!!!!

This soap says, “there is no dam beaver in this soap.”

I also found Dog Team Drool soap and Dinosaur Dung soap.

It says on the soap, “there are no actual dogs or drool in this soap”. The blue soap says, “there is no dino or dung in this soap.”

The next one is Badger Barff soap. Who thought of these names?

The soap says, “there is no badger or barff used in this soap.”

Sasquatch Sweat soap?!? Okay…..

I found two more weird soaps! The names are Moose Spit soap and Ferret Farts soap.

The Moose Spit soap says, “There is no actual moose spit in this soap.” The Ferret Fart soap says, “Bet you didn’t think they smelled this good.”

These soaps are all from the Great Mountain Soap Company. Now the real question is, would you buy these soaps?

Spice Road Table Review

Spice Road Table is in the Morocco pavilion. I went there back in August. Spice Road Table is one of my dad’s favorite restaurants in Disney World! You can sit either outside or inside. We always sit outside because you have a great view of the World Showcase lagoon.

We ate the Hummus and Imported Olives. It came with cornichons and za’atar pita bread. My dad loved it!

I had the Mix Grill Skewers on the adult menu. That is marinated beef and chicken, with garlic and fresh herbs with rosemary roasted potatoes. I always get this because it is so good!

My dad had the Lamb Sliders with hummus fries. We have been to Spice Road Table a few other times and he always gets the Lamb Sliders with hummus fries. It is one of his favorite meals in Disney World.

My brother had the chicken nuggets and french fries from the kids menu.

I give Spice Road Table 5 Mickey Bars!!! This restaurant is awesome!
