Ride This Ride If You Want To Get Away From The Crowds In Epcot

There are times that you might just want to get away from the crowds while at Epcot. If so, you should go inside The Land pavilion.

The entire Land pavilion is located inside and while you could ride Soarin’ Around The World, there is always a line for that ride.

The Land pavilion.

Instead, you should ride Living with the Land.

Now, I know this ride is not a super fast roller coaster or a ride that you will be talking about weeks after your trip to Disney World, but it IS a ride that never has a line.

Living with the Land is a slow boat ride that talks about how people for years have been “living with the land.” There is one part of the ride where you will get to see lots of different plants that are actually used in the restaurants at Epcot!

The plants in the middle are lettuce.
These are Daylily, which is an edible flower.

You will be able to get some really pretty pictures from this ride.

I was in Disney World during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, so there were even more plants that were in Living with the Land.

Don’t forget to also look for all the Hidden Mickeys in this ride!

Can you find the Hidden Mickey in this picture?

I will guarantee you that there will not be a line for this ride or it will only take five minutes to get on this ride. The only time there might be a line is if it is raining outside.

Next time you want to get away from the crowds in Epcot, give Living with the Land a try!

Le Cellier Steakhouse Review

Le Cellier is a steakhouse that is located in the Canada pavilion.

I really like the way the inside of the restaurant looks.

First we were given three different types of bread. There was white bread, pretzel bread, and a whole wheat bread.

We were also given butter for the breads. I thought the pretzel bread was delicious and did not need butter.

My dad and I had the Le Cellier Filet Mignon with truffle-butter sauce on the side. This is the steak that made this restaurant so popular. My dad and I really like Filet Mignon, so we enjoyed our meals.

Al had Seared Salmon with carrots and green beans from the kids menu. He loved his food.

My mom also had the Le Cellier Filet Mignon except she had truffle-butter sauce on her food. She thought it was delicous.

I give Le Cellier 4 Mickey Bars! While our food was good, we were seated in the corner of the restaurant next to a wall, so I could not see anything while I was eating. Our food also took a long time to arrive.

Snacks From Around The World: The United Kingdom Edition

Today I will be talking about the snacks from  The United Kingdom pavilion! I went to a store called The Queen’s Table.

This store had a lot of different types of cookies.

This store has Chocolate Chip Shortbread Rounds.

You can also get Raspberry and White Chocolate Shortbread Cookies.

Another cookie that this store has is Scottish Shortbreads.

I bought Shortbread Rounds. Fun Fact: Shortbreads are Scottish.

The shortbread has an image of Mickey Mouse on it! These shortbreads were so good! They were nice and buttery.

Don’t forget to try Shortbread Rounds when you are in The United Kingdom pavilion!

Space 220 Review

Space 220 is a new restaurant located in Epcot that I will be reviewing today!

Space 220 is an interesting restaurant because you feel like you are eating in outer space.

First, you go into an elevator that takes you to outer space. It’s really cool to see!

Once you have reached outer space, you walk past these spinning vegetables.

Then, you are seated in this big room that has windows that look out into outer space.

I saw astronauts floating through space!

Here is what the tables looked like.

The fork, knife, and glass were interesting shapes.

You select Lift-Offs which is an appetizer and a Star Course which is an entree. My Lift-Off was Starry Calamari. I am a big fan of calamari and these calamari were delicous!

My Star Course was Spaceghetti and Shrimp. The Spaceghetti tasted very buttery. My problem with this dish is that it was too much food.

My mom had the Centauri Caesar Salad for her Lift-Off. She thought that her meal tasted really good.

My dad had Space Greens for his Lift-Off. Space Greens is lettuce, watermelon, spiced pecans, and Apple Cider Dressing. He enjoyed it.

My parents had the Galactic Salmon and the Supreme Chicken Breast for their Star Courses. They thought it was delicious.

Al ordered from the kids menu and just had a Star Course. His Star Course was Spaceghetti. He did like it, but it was too much food for him.

The dessert that Al got was Strawberry Sorbet Scoop.

It was then time for us to go walk through the long hallway again and wait for the elevator to send us back to Earth.

The elevator sending us back to Earth.

I give Space 220 3 Mickey Bars. It is a unique experience, but after ten minutes the novelty of this restaurant wears off. I also felt like not enough things were happening in outer space. Most of the time we were just staring at darkness. I would recommend trying this restaurant once for the experience, but I think it is an only one time thing. Also, there are so many restaurants in the World Showcase that are more worth checking out than Space 220.

A Tour Inside The Fancy Goods Lords and Ladies Store

Lords and Ladies is a store in The United Kingdom pavilion that we will be taking a tour of today!

This store has different soaps that you can try.

The first soap is White Jasmine and Sandalwood.

The second soap is Oriental Spice and Cherry Blossom.

There was also a really cool display in one part of the store!

These Minnie Ears will make you feel like royalty!

This skirt is really pretty!

In another area of the store there was some Winnie the Pooh merchandise. You can get these adorable Winnie the Pooh ears.

There were Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals!

There were also some Winnie the Pooh shirts.

I went into this store during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival in April and there was an English Tea Garden Self-Guided Tea Tour outside this store.

There were displays outside of different types of teas.

This tea is called Peppermint and Fennel Flavored Herbal Tea.

This one is called Raspberry and Hibiscus Flavored Herbal Tea.

This shows the life cycle of butterflies.

I hope you enjoyed this tour!

Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a new ride located in Epcot.

If you haven’t ridden this ride yet, then don’t worry because this guide to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has no spoilers.

In this ride you will meet the members of the Nova Corps and learn about the technology that they use, but, something goes wrong. The Guardians of the Galaxy will need your help.

At one point during the roller coaster, you will hear either “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears, “Conga” by Gloria Estefan, “One Way or Another” by Blondie, “I Ran” by A Flock of Seagulls, or “Disco Inferno” by The Trammps.

I really enjoyed this roller coaster, but I will warn you that it can be VERY INTENSE. If you are someone who isn’t a big fan of roller coasters, you might want to sit this one out.

Snacks From Around The World: Norway Edition

This is the second part of my Snacks From Around The World series. Today I will be telling you about the snacks in the Norway pavilion!

After you ride Frozen Ever After, there is a gift store at the exit called The Wandering Reindeer. I decided to look through this store and found some snacks!

The first two snacks I found are Daim and Kariqarer. Daim is a crunchy caramel candy bar. Kariqarer is dark chocolate. Fun Fact: Daim was invented in Sweden, but is very popular in Norway.

Here is milk chocolate Kariqarer.

Here is some more Daim and Dumle. Dumle is a soft toffee covered with milk chocolate.

The next candy is called Japp. Japp has milk chocolate and the inside has cocoa meringue and caramel.

Ballerina is the next snack! This candy is filled with chocolate hazelnut cream.

I bought Kex and Troika. I will first tell you about Kex. Kex tastes a lot like a Kit Kat. I love Kit Kats, so I really enjoyed this snack.

Here is what it looks like.

Troika has tree layers: truffle chocolate, marzipan, and raspberry jelly. The outside is dark chocolate.

My favorite layer was the raspberry jelly. I also loved the dark chocolate on the outside.

I would definitely recommend trying snacks from the Norway pavilion!

Updated Teppan Edo Review

The last time I reviewed the food at Teppan Edo was in 2019 and you can read that review here. I recently went back to Teppan Edo and want to tell you all about my experience!

Teppan Edo is located in the Japan pavilion in Epcot. The restarant is located on the second floor of a building called Mitsukoshi Department Store. When you walk inside this building, Teppan Edo is on the left and Tokyo Dining is located on the right.

Here is what the tables look like:

At Teppan Edo, you sit with another family while the chef cooks your food in front of you.

An onion train!
A hidden Mickey!

I had Ebi. Ebi is 10 grilled shrimp with a garden salad, udon noodles, vegetables, and white rice. I first had the garden salad. The salad tasted fresh and I liked the dressing.

Our chef took a very long time to show up and start cooking. The chefs gave us free Edamame since we had to wait so long. Edamame is a soybean pod.

I had white rice. It was still hot when I ate it and it tasted good.

Next, I was given the udon noodles. These noodles were DELICOUS! The vegetables went really well with the noodles.

Finally, I was given 10 shrimp. The shrimp had a nice flavor to them.

I give Teppan Edo 4 Mickey Bars! It was really frusterating that we had to wait so long for the chef, but it was nice that they gave us free edamame. Would I recommend going here? Absolutely! It is really fun to see the chef cook your meal right in front of you.

Snacks From Around The World: Italy Edition

I am going to be starting a new series called Snacks From Around The World! In this series, I will review different snacks from different pavilions in Epcot.

Enoteca Castello is located in the Italy pavilion and I found a snack that I wanted to try in this store!

I could choose either the Lemon Cream Filled Gran Torta or the Chocolate Cream Filled Gran Torta. Fun Fact: torta means cake in Italian.

I picked the Lemon Cream Filled Gran Torta.

When you open the box, there is a cake and a package of powdered sugar.

The cake.

We put the powdered sugar on top of the cake. This cake was DELICOUS! I loved how there is a lemon filling inside the cake because it helps make the cake not dry.

The cake with powdered sugar.

Next time you are in Epcot, I would totally recommend getting this!

A Tour Inside Sportsman’s Shoppe

Sportsman’s Shoppe is located in The United Kingdom pavilion. Today I will be showing you around this store!

This was located outside of the store, but I still wanted to show it to you. Isn’t it cool?!

I found some United Kingdom shirts.

These shirts have Wales, Ireland, England, or Scotland written on them.

That is my tour around Sportman’s Shoppe! I hope you enjoyed this tour!
