Masks Are Required Again When Indoors At Disney World

On July 30th, Disney started requiring to wear masks when indoors again.

You don’t need to wear masks when outdoors which is really nice because of how hot it is right now in Florida!

A lot of lines that go indoors have signs saying to put your mask on.

It also doesn’t matter if you are vaccinated or not because everyone is required to wear a mask when indoors at Disney World.

If you are planning to come to Disney World soon don’t forget to bring your masks!

Fireworks Are Coming Back To Disney World And More Disney News!

As Disney World keeps lifting restrictions I couldn’t help wondering when fireworks would come back to Disney World, and now we know when!

Fireworks have not been in the parks since before the pandemic so this is a really big deal. Fireworks will come back to Disney World on July 1, 2021.

Fireworks will be at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. At Magic Kingdom you will be able to see the Happily Ever After Fireworks and at Epcot you will be able to see the Epcot Forever Fireworks.

Also, masks are now optional in Disney World if you are fully vaccinated! Distancing markers are being removed from ride queues and you can watch some pre-shows now. Play area are opening and some live shows have returned.

You can now watch Festival of the Lion King!

I will keep you up to date with more Disney News!

You No Longer Need To Wear A Face Mask Outside At Disney World!

Yes, you read that correctly! You no longer need to wear a face mask outside while at Disney World.

That doesn’t mean face masks are disappearing though. You are still required to wear a face mask when entering or leaving a ride, in all theaters, all transportation, and any indoor locations.

Are you going to Main Street Bakery? Remember to put your face mask on first.

Temperature checks are also no longer required when entering the parks, resorts, or Disney Springs! Now, all you have to do to get in the parks is scan your MagicBand or use Disney MagicMobile.

This is great news because as we get closer and closer to summer it would have been very hard to keep our masks on outside in the Florida heat.

This is a big update because this is the first time Disney World has added a circumstance where you can temporarily take off your face mask. I will continue to tell you about changes happening around the Disney World parks!

Phased Reopening Of Disney Springs Information

Disney Springs reopened on May 20. I am going to tell you the safety measures Disney Springs will now be taking. The Disney World parks and Disney hotel resorts are still closed though.

You are required to wear a face covering if you are ages 3 and up. (If you are reading this I am pretty sure you are older than 3.) All the face coverings should:

  • Fully cover your mouth and nose and let you remain hands-free
  • Fit comfortably and snugly against the side of your face
  • Be secured by either ties or ear loops
  • Your face covering should be made of breathable material and either disposable or reusable

You are NOT allowed to wear a costume mask. You will also have to go through a temperature screening. If your temperature is 100.4 F or above you will not be allowed into Disney Springs and your family will not be allowed in either.

Disney Springs will now be increasing cleaning and disinfecting in public elevators, handrails, benches, tables, handles, restaurants, and more. Hand sanitizer and hand-washing locations will also be available.

Ground markings will help proper physical distancing when queuing is needed. You can also now not park in the Grapefruit garage and all the surface parking lots will be closed.

This may seem like a lot but Disney Springs is doing this so you can stay healthy. If you would like to learn more about Disney Springs reopening phase click here: https://www.disneysprings.com/reopening/
