My Top Five Favorite Things About Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a Disney resort that I really enjoyed staying in. Today, I will be sharing with you some of my favorite things about this resort.

5. My fifth favorite thing about this resort is Sanaa. Sanaa is a restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge that serves African and Indian inspired dishes. The food here is really good and the bread service is well known, so don’t forget to try the bread service when you visit!

4. My fourth favorite thing is the other restaurant, The Mara. The Mara is a quick service restaurant which means it is not a sit down restaurant. I really enjoyed my food here and I actually liked The Mara better than Sanaa. The Mara is also well known for its Zebra Domes, so be sure to get those.

3. The third thing that I liked about this resort is all the African designs. The designs can be found all through out the resort and I just really like how much detail was put into Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

2. What makes this resort unique is how you can see animals from your balcony!

  1. The best thing about Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is how close the resort is to Animal Kingdom. This is important because being close to Animal Kingdom can help save time in the morning and help you get more rides done.

I think Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great resort that you should definitely stay at while you are in Disney World!

Sanaa Review

Sanaa is one of the restaurants located inside of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

When we went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in July, we went to Sanaa for the first time!

Sanaa is a very popular restaurant that serves African and Indian inspired dishes.

We first had the Indian-style Bread Service. That is five breads that come with many different types of sauces. Sanaa is known for its bread service, so when you eat at Sanaa, I would really recommend that you get the Indian-style Bread Service.

It was so good that we wanted more bread!

I had the African-inspired Biryani with Shrimp. This dish comes with vegetables, rice, and shrimp. I love shrimp, so I enjoyed this meal.

My dad had the African-inspired Biryani with Chicken. He thought it was really good.

My mom had the Samosas which are appetizers. She thought the Samosas were pretty good.

For dessert, I had the African Triple Chocolate Mousse. That is dark chocolate from Ghana, milk chocolate from Madagascar, Orelys Blond Chocolate, chocolate almond biscuits, and strawberries. It was DELICIOUS!

Al had the Pumbaa’s Dessert Grub. He thought his dessert tasted really good.

I give Sanaa 5 Mickey Bars!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

In July, we stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, there are two separate villages that you can stay in: the Jambo House and Kidani Village. We stayed at Kidani Village.

What is really nice about the Animal Kingdom Lodge is that it is really close to Animal Kingdom. That can help you get to the parks earlier and let you do more rides!

Here are some pictures of the lobby at Kidani Village.

Animal Kingdom Lodge has four restaurants. The Mara, Sanaa, Jiko, and Boma. Update: Jiko is currently closed. We went to The Mara and Sanaa. I will review these restaurants in different blog articles, so keep on the look out!

Here are some pictures from the room we stayed in.
