Mexico is one of my favorite pavilions in Epcot! Why? You will find out soon!
Food: Mexico has some great food. The pavilion has a pyramid with a restaurant outside of the pyramid called La Hacienda De San Angel and a restaurant inside of the pyramid called San Angel Inn Restaurante.
At La Hacienda, you can eat and watch the fireworks at the same time! I like San Angel Inn better because they have good quesadillas and you can watch the boats from the Grand Fiesta Tour sail by you as you eat. These restaurants are part of the reason why I love this pavilion so much.
Shopping: Inside the pyramid, they have a shopping place with skulls, skeletons, shirts, glasses, and many more things from Mexico. This is a very nice place to shop or if you just want to look around.
Entertainment: Next to San Angel Inn, there is a ride called the Grand Fiesta Tour! This is a very fun and relaxing ride where The Three Caballeros (Panchito Pistoles, Jose Carioca, and Donald Duck) want to perform a song, but they lose Donald Duck! They go through many places to find him. Then, near the end of the ride, they finally find Donald! After all that, they eventually perform. This ride is another reason why I love this pavilion.
Outside the pyramid, you can take pictures with Donald, who is dressed in Mexican clothes.
Also, next to La Hacienda De San Angel, a band performs Mexican songs. There is always a crowd enjoying the music.
I hope you enjoyed my review of the Mexican pavilion.
It’s time to review Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness!
Before I get into the review, I would like to warn you that there WILL BE SPOILERS for Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
Doctor Strange has cast a spell that opens up the multiverse. This causes chaos. Soon, a big threat comes and may be too powerful to defeat.
This movie was intense and very confusing. The confusing part was understanding what was going on in the multiverse.
I was really looking forward to seeing Wanda because she is one of my favorite characters, but I was kind of disappointed. In my opinion, Wanda was too evil in this movie. I thought that Wanda would be the villain in the beginning and then join Doctor Strange’s side once a bigger threat came. I was not expecting Wanda to be evil the whole movie.
This movie can get pretty creepy, so if you are someone who gets scared easily I would not recommend seeing this movie.
I give Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness 3 Mickey Bars. This movie is super confusing and the ending disappointed me.
Before we get into the review, I would like to warn you that this review HAS SPOILERS for The Book of Boba Fett show.
This show starts off with Boba Fett claiming Jabba The Hutt’s territory. He is trying to gain respect from people and we also see flashbacks of how he survived falling into the Sarlacc Pit. We also learn how he survived in Tatooine with the Tusken Raiders. I did enjoy learning more about the Tusken Raiders and seeing the world from their point of view. I also think that the Tusken Raiders were killed off too early in the show. We spent so much time in the first few episodes learning about them and then they were just killed off so the plot could move forward.
I would give The Book of Boba Fett 3 Mickey Bars. I did like this show, but not because of Boba Fett. Boba Fett was really boring and he barely did anything. I felt like most of the other characters in this show were more interesting then him. Also, once The Mandalorian was in the show I felt like it started becoming more about The Mandalorian and less about Boba Fett.
I was really happy to see Grogu and was totally not expecting to see him. My favorite episode was when The Mandalorian went on a mission to see Grogu and we get to see him training with Luke Skywalker.
I was shocked to see Cade Bane and I do not think he is dead. Why would they bring back such a big character and then kill him after two episodes?
If you are a Star Wars fan, I would recommend that you watch The Book of Boba Fett!
I saw Spider Man: No Way Home in the movie theaters and am excited to be reviewing it for you!
Before we get into the review, I would like to warn you that this review HAS SPOILERS for Spider Man: No Way Home.
Spider Man: No Way Home starts off right where Spider Man: Far From Home leaves of with Mysterio revealing that Spider Man is Peter Parker.
Peter Parker then goes to see Doctor Strange and asks him if it is possible to do a spell where everyone forgets that Peter Parker is Spider Man. While Doctor Strange is working on the spell, Peter Parker messes everything up by saying that he still wants certain people to remember that he is Spider Man. This ruins the spell and creates the Multiverse of Madness.
I did really like seeing all three Spider Mans together in the movie. I think the other two Spider Mans brought a lot of comedy relief which was definitely needed.
I also liked seeing all the different villains from the other Spider Man movies and seeing things from their perspective. Most of the villains in this movie never wanted to become villains, just the evil parts of themselves took over.
I am going to be completely honest with you. This movie made me so sad. When Aunt May died, I cried. The saddest part for me was when Doctor Strange finally is able to do the spell where everyone forgets that Peter Parker is Spider Man. Everyone also forgets who Peter Parker is. Now, Peter Parker lives by himself and nobody knows him. Isn’t that so sad?!
Shang-Chi And The Legend of The Ten Rings is a Marvel movie that is now in the movie theaters! Update: Shang-Chi And The Legend of The Ten Rings is now on Disney+.
On Labor Day, I got to see this movie in the movie theaters and can’t wait to review it for you!
Before we get into the review I would like to tell you that this review CONTAINS SPOILERS for Shang-Chi And The Legend of The Ten Rings.
When Shang-Chi was a kid his mom died. His dad then decided to train Shang-Chi to become an assassin. Shang-Chi’s father became cruel and Shang-Chi ran away when he was fourteen.
Now, Shang Chi has to return to his past and confront his father and the sister he left behind.
I really enjoyed this movie because I loved all the martial arts fighting. It made this movie unique and the scenery was stunning.
There are a lot of twists and turns in this movie that keep you on the edge of your seat.
I also liked how unlike Black Widow, this movie had a lot of funny moments. My favorite person in this movie was Katy because she was hilarious.
I give Shang-Chi And The Legend of The Ten Rings 4 Mickey Bars! I will warn you that this movie does get very sad, so be prepared!

The Red Bean Ice Float can be found at the Lotus Blossom Cafe in the China pavilion all month long. This drink was originally popularized in Hong Kong and it is made with sweetened Chinese red beans, milk, crushed up ice, and vanilla ice cream.
Another thing you can get at Lotus Blossom Cafe is Char Siu with Rice. Char Siu in Chinese or Cha Shao in Mandarin means fork roast. This is a Cantonese style barbecue pork dish popularized in Hong Kong and in ethnic Chinese communities all over the world. It is an iconic item at Chinatown restaurants all over The United States. Just looking at this dish is making me hungry!
There is a calligraphy demonstration every Wednesday in May from 2 to 3 pm EST and 6 to 7 pm EST at House of Good Fortune. The House of Good Fortune is showing the history and significance of Chinese Calligraphy.
The Japan pavilion shares Japanese culture all year! Mitsukoshi Department Store has traditional Japanese architecture and design as well as Kimonos and Kawaii from Japan. This store has popular Japanese toys, clothing, incense, and snacks.
You should definitely check out this store because it is ginormous and you will find something in the store that you like.
While your in the Japan pavilion, don’t forget to check out Teppan Edo which serves sushi and hibachi and Katsura Grill that has miso-glazed chicken wings, okonomiyaki fries, ramen, sushi, and teriyaki chicken.
Disney Springs is celebrating in many different ways and one of those ways is with Chef Jessi Sudsa-nguan who is the pastry chef at Amorette’s Patisserie. Chef Jessi is from Bangkok, Thailand and has been working for the Walt Disney World Resort for over 30 years.
She has created a special treat for this month! The treat is a Jasmine Tea Cream Tart. It is a light dessert that has fruit gelee and a butter and nut cookie crust in honor of her favorite Asian teas and flavors with a twist.
Also at Amorette’s Patisserie, you can get the Mulan Petit Cake. The flavors are matcha chiffon, lemon chiffon, honey-ginger mousse, lemon curd, lemon-ginger streusel, and green tea simple syrup.
You can get the Matcha Yuzu Ganache Square at The Ganachery. The flavors are green tea and yuzu dark chocolate ganache.
At The Daily Poutine you can get Korean BBQ Fries. That is Korean-style bulgogi pulled pork and kimchi with Sriracha aïoli and topped with French Fries.
The restaurant Morimoto Asia, located in Disney Springs, is led by Japanese Master Chef Masaharu Morimoto. The menu at this restuarant has his take on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean dishes. This month you can enjoy the following dishes at Morimoto Asia.
Lomilomi is a salmon tartare with tomatoes, onions, and scallions.
Loco Moco is a traditional Hawaiian burger rice bowl made with a blend of filet and A5 wagyu topped with an egg and teriyaki mushroom gravy.
Saimin is a Hawaiian style ramen with a dashi shrimp broth, thin noodles, and roasted pork. This dish is available at Morimoto Asia Street Food.
Halo-Halo is a Filipino shaved ice dessert with flavored jellies and fruit.
You can also go to YeSake to try some Japanese street food and Asian inspired drinks including Karaage, Taiyaki, Chicken Buns, Ahi Tuna Poke Bowls, Bubble Teas, Sake Sushi, and more!
Don’t forget to go see the artist spotlight series at The Art of Disney. These people include Qui Nguyen, Mohit Kallianpur, Fawn Veerasunthorn, Willie Ito, Gyo Fujikawa, Milton Quon, and Disney Legend Tyrus Wong.
You can shop at Basin whose portion of sales go to the AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) Community Fund.
Over at Disney Springs West Side you should go check out the art piece that was inspired by Raya And The Last Dragon. This stunning artwork was created by Xiao Qing Chen outside of AMC Theaters.
The artwork is inspired by Raya’s Malaysian heritage and celebrates diversity.
You should definitely come to Disney World right now to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month!
