Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Is Canceled This Year

Just like how Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party was canceled, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas will also be canceled.

Every year at Disney Resorts you can see amazing gingerbread displays but this year you will not be able to see those displays. In Epcot, the famous Candlelight Processional will be canceled this year. A celebrity would host the event and tell the Christmas story with a choir and fifty piece orchestra.

The Candlelight Processional.

Here is a list of all the modified Christmas plans from now until December 30, 2020.

All over the Walt Disney World Resort you can see some festive decorations, themed merchandise, seasonal food, drinks, and entertainment. Each Disney park and Disney Springs are all focusing on the holidays. Santa Clause is also having special appearances.

At night, Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom has projection effects. Cinderella’s Castle changes into different designs that are rotating such as a Christmas sweater and gold, red, and green ornamentation.

Not everything is canceled. Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays and Disney Springs’ Christmas Tree display are coming back! Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays is coming back on November 27, 2020. Joyful! inside World ShowPlace and Voices of Liberty at the American Gardens Theater Stage will be returning.

Even though Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is not happening this year, at least you can enjoy the Christmas decorations and more at Disney World!

My Top Five Favorite Shows In The World Showcase

The World Showcase has many shows that are very unique and interesting. Today we are going to be talking about my favorites!

5. My fifth favorite show is Impressions De France in the France pavilion. This indoor show teaches you a lot about France. Why this show is in fifth place for me is because it is outdated and could use an update. You should still see this show though!

4. My forth favorite show is The American Adventure in The United States pavilion. Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain talk about American History. This show is very educational and INDOORS!

3. In the Japan pavilion you can watch Matsuriza perform Japanese Taiko Drumming. This outdoor show happens several times a day and I like how this show is different.

2. Reflections of China in the China pavilion is an indoor 360 Vision show located in the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest. This show is awesome! It teaches you a lot about China that you might not have known before. This show was updated and is now renamed Wonderous China.

  1. My favorite show in the World Showcase has to be O Canada! in the Canada pavilion. This show, like the one in China, is a 360 Vision show. This show will educate you about Canada and the host is very funny! This show was updated and is now renamed Canada Far and Wide.

I hope this list will help you find shows to watch while in The World Showcase!

Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie Review

Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie is in the France pavilion and every time I go to Disney World I go to this bakery!

This bakery is filled with different pastries such as eclairs, Napoleons, and chocolate tarts. Just being inside Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie makes me happy!

Every time I go, I get the macarons!

These always taste delicious. It might have to do with because you are in the France pavilion and that is why the macarons always taste so good!

The macarons deserve 5 Mickey Bars!

If you are looking for a snack while in the World Showcase you should definitely get the macarons!

Transportation To Get You To Disney World

Disney World has many types of transportation you can use to get to the parks and I will be telling you about five of them today!

You can take a Disney bus to go to the parks, your Disney resort, or Disney Springs. I have never been on a Disney bus but one cool thing about Disney buses is each one has a unique design on the outside!

Another option of transportation is a Minnie Van. Minnie Vans are just like Ubers or Lifts. I have seen Minnie Vans all through out Disney property and the outside of the cars are adorable!

If you are staying in a Disney Resort you can take the monorail to go to the Disney Parks. Even if you aren’t staying in a Disney Resort than you will still use the monorail to go back to the parking lot were your car is after being in Magic Kingdom or Epcot all day. I enjoy taking the monorail to and from Disney World because it is very relaxing.

If you are staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort you can walk to Magic Kingdom! This is great because it can take a long time to get into Magic Kingdom and walking there from The Contemporary Resort is quicker. At Disney’s Yacht Club, you can walk to Epcot.

Another way to get to the Disney parks is if you park your car in the parks parking lot, you can take the tram to get to the parks. I would recommend to take the tram rather than walking because other wise you will be doing a lot of walking. Believe me you are going to be doing enough walking in Disney World.

Have fun trying these different ways to get to Disney World!

My Top Five Favorite Things To Do When It Is Raining In The World Showcase

In Florida it rains A LOT so when it does rain I have found some great activities to do to make the time go by in the World Showcase.

5.  The United States of America pavilion is a great place to go when it rains because they have a show called The American Adventure. This show talks about American History. Before the show starts you can listen to the Voices Of Liberty sing patriotic songs. (You should see this before the show starts if it’s raining because you are INDOORS!!) If you don’t want to hear the Voices Of Liberty you can look at the American Heritage Gallery that has American Indian art.

The Voices Of Liberty.

4. The  France pavilion has a show called Impressions De France. This show is indoors and when the show is over you walk into Les Halles Boulangerie. They sell pastries and merchandise.

This is some of the merchandise.

3. In the  China pavilion, you can watch the indoor 360 Cirle-Vision show called Reflections on China. When the show is over you don’t have to go back in the pouring rain because you walk straight into a big store called House of Good Fortune.

2. The store Mitsukoshi in the Japan pavilion is really big so looking at the merchandise will certainly pass the time while it rains. If you are sick of looking at merchandise you can get your passport stamped and look at the Kawaii display. (It’s all in the same building!)

  1. The best place to go when it is raining in the World Showcase is the pyramid in the  Mexico pavilion because you can walk inside the pyramid and spent a long time looking at merchandise, eating at the restaurant San Angel Inn Restaurante, and go on the boat ride Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros. My favorite thing to do in the pyramid is to look at merchandise.
The inside of the pyramid.

I hope this helps you stay dry while in the World Showcase!

My Top Five Favorite Things To Do In The France Pavilion

The France pavilion is a pavilion with a lot of things to do!

Impressions De France is in between the trees.

5. The France pavilion has a show called Impressions De France. This show is NOT a 360 Vision show like the ones in the China and Canada pavilions. My only complaint is this show is a little outdated.

4. My fourth favorite thing is the acrobat show outside. This show happens outside of Chefs de France. I really like this show and I would recommend watching it!

3. There is a tiny stand called Crepes Des Chefs De France that sells amazing crepes! The best part is that the crepes are still warm when you eat them! You can read my review of this stand here.

My crepe was filled with chocolate!

2. I have to tell you now about the pastries at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie! Located inside of Les Halles, you can choose from many different pastries. I always get the macrons because they are delicious!

  1. I really like the French restaurant called Chefs De France. I went to this restaurant last year and I really enjoyed my food. You can read my review of Chefs De France here.

I hope you decide to check out these shows, snacks, and restaurant because I really recommend them!

My Top Five Favorite Things To Do In The Germany Pavilion

Germany is another great pavilion to visit in Epcot!

5. My fifth favorite thing about the Germany pavilion is Glaskunst. This store located outside sells tiaras.

4. If you want an even bigger selection of tiaras than you should go to Kunstarbeit in Kristall.

They even have birthday tiaras! If you would like to learn more about tiaras in the Germany pavilion click here!

My birthday is August 31 so mine would be peridot.

3. My third favorite thing in the Germany pavilion is Biergarten. Biergarten is a buffet where you sit with other families. I really like this restaurant and I think the food is pretty good! If you would like to see my full review of this restaurant click here!

2. While you are eating at Biergarten a live band plays music! I really like that live music is played because it gives you something to watch while you eat. Don’t forget to go to DisneywithIzzy on YouTube to watch a video of this live band!

  1. Now my favorite thing to do in the Germany pavilion is go to Die Weihnachtsecke.

This store sells Christmas decorations all year! If you would like to read my blog article about that click here! I feel like just looking at the Christmas decorations can make you happy.

Disney’s Mulan Will Be Streaming On Disney+

Mulan will be on Disney+ on September 4, 2020.

This movie was supposed to come out back in March but was pushed back because of the corona virus.

If you have Disney+ Mulan will cost an additional $29.99. Mulan is only available on Disney+. If you live in a country where Disney+ is not available, Disney plans to release Mulan in movie theaters on the same day, September 4, 2020.

You can meet Mulan in the China pavilion.

I am really excited for this movie to come out because Mulan is one of my favorite Disney princesses!

Click here to read about what shows I recommend to watch on Disney+!

My Top Five Favorite Things To Do In The China Pavilion

The China pavilion is in my opinion, very relaxing because calming music is played in the pavilion.

5. My fifth favorite thing to do is eat at Nine Dragons Restaurant. When I went to this restaurant two years ago I had Salt and Pepper Shrimp with a strawberry smoothie. The smoothie was REALLY GOOD!!

4. I also enjoy watching The Jeweled Dragon Acrobats. This show is a live performance and is performed by kids!

3. Another thing I really like to do in the China pavilion is just look around at the beautiful buildings and peaceful looking lily pads. You should try just walking around in the China pavilion. It really is calming.

2. China, like the Canada and France pavilions, also has its own show called Reflections on China. This indoor 360 Circle-Vision Show explores the monuments of China by showing you images. This show will teach you a lot about China.

  1. House Of Good Fortune is a huge store in the China pavilion that sells jade carvings, stuffed animal pandas, Chinese lanterns, and pieces of crystals just to name a few! This store even made my list of My Top Five Favorite Stores In Epcot’s World Showcase. You should definitely check out this store and that blog article!

My Top Five Favorite Things To Do In The Japan Pavilion

The Japan pavilion is one of my favorite pavilions to visit in Epcot.

5. My fifth favorite thing to do is look at Mitsukoshi kiosk. This little kiosk is tiny but it’s fun to look at. This kiosk sells fans, t-shirts, and Minnie Ears with the Japanese flag.

4. My fourth favorite thing to do is watch Matsuriza perform Japanese Taiko Drumming. This performance happens several times a day and you can hear the drumming from everywhere in the Japan pavilion.

3. My third favorite thing is Teppan Edo. Teppan Edo is a restaurant where the chefs cook the food in front of you. Last time I went to Teppan Edo I had Ebi, which is 10 grilled shrimp served with a garden salad, udon noodles, vegetables, and steamed white rice. All the food tasted delicious!

2. Bijutsu-kan Gallery is a display that teaches you about Kawaii, Japan’s cute culture. The display is really well made and it’s interesting to learn about how Kawaii is used.

  1. My favorite thing to do in the Japan pavilion is the ginormous store, Mitsukoshi. I could look around in that store for hours! Mitsukoshi has fans, books to help you learn Japanese, Japanese candy, and much much more! Everything in Mitsukoshi is from Japan too!

If you are going to the Japan pavilion don’t forget to try these things!
