Disneyland’s Autopia vs Disney World’s Speedway

Setting around both rides: Both rides are in the Tomorrowland sections of Disneyland and Disney World, but the surroundings are completely different. Disneyland’s Autopia is next to Finding Nemo and a Disneyland Railroad train station. Disney World’s Tomorrowland Speedway is near the edge of Tomorrowland, next to some restaurants and the Mad Tea Party ride. Near both exits, you can also get a fake driver’s license, but you have to pay for it. I think that Speedway has a better setting around the ride because Autopia is tucked into the back of Tomorrowland next to the train station. After you are done with Autopia, it is hard to get to the next ride because it is so far away from everything.

Setting when you are on each ride: I think that Autopia’s setting, when you are on the ride, is better than Speedway’s setting because Autopia has characters on the side of the “road” that you can easily see while still driving. Speedway does not have anything fun to look at while you are driving. It looks like you are riding in a real car with trees and highway signs. I also think that both rides usually have a long queue; so expect to stand in a line.

How are the two rides different: The scenery is better on Autopia. Another cool thing about Autopia, if you look on the back of your car, it has a funny license plate. Soon, the cars in Autopia will become electric, too.
Al’s Winner: Both rides are awesome, but I think I liked Autopia better because it has a great setting when you are on the ride.

The Best Bathrooms At Disney World

When you are at Disney World, you will have to use one of the bathrooms in the parks.

Some bathrooms are actually very beautifully decorated and themed. Today, I will be sharing with you some of my favorite bathrooms at Disney World.

I really like the bathroom in the  Norway pavilion.

The bathroom is Frozen themed. The doors are blue and the walls and floors are wood.

I especially love this flower because look how much detail was put into it.

At Magic Kingdom the Tangled bathrooms near Peter Pan are one of the best in Disney World!

The inside of this bathroom has many paintings like the ones Rapunzel painted while in her tower.

The only downside to this bathroom is that it is always crowded.

In Disney Springs, there is a restaurant called The Boathouse. While the food was good, the bathrooms deserve a visit. Just before you enter the women bathroom, you see this head on the door.

The men bathroom also has a head on the door.

The inside of the bathroom had some boats and a fish on display.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge also has really nice bathrooms. On the first floor next to Sanaa is a bathroom I really like.

I like how this bathroom looks fancy but stays with the same theme as the rest of the resort.

I know this was a weird blog article, but it is true that Disney World has decorative bathrooms. You will notice when you are there!

This Is Where You Get Nice Views Of Fantasyland

Disney World can get very hectic, so it is important to take breaks. I am going to be telling you where you can get great views of Fantasyland, specifically Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and Cinderella’s Castle.

Can you guess where this is?

Pinocchio Village Haus! Pinocchio Village Haus is a quick service restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.

The only problem is that this restaurant is ALWAYS crowded. When we went we had a hard time finding a seat, so we had to sit on the balcony in the corner.

I also could not see this view from where I was sitting. I had to get up and move closer, but I still found it worth it!

You get to take great pictures of Prince Charming Regal Carrousel with Cinderella’s Castle in the background.

My Favorite Roller Coasters At Disney World

I will be sharing with you my favorite roller coasters in Disney World!

5. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a great ride, even if you are not the biggest roller coaster fan. Why? This ride has a lot of turns, but no drops.

4. TRON Lightcycle / Run just opened in March and a high speed adventure! You will join Team Blue and go on a race against Team Red. This ride is crazy fast and everything from the queue to the ride feels like you are totally immersed.

3. Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain is a lot of fun! You are in the Himalayas and trying to escape the Yeti. During this ride you will also get a great view of Disney World.

2. I have recently become a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This is another new roller coaster. This ride can get really fast, so I if you are not a big fan of roller coasters I would say to skip this one.

  1. My favorite roller coaster should be no surprise to anyone, Space Mountain. Space Mountain is a roller coaster in the dark. I love the mystery of this ride because you do not know what is going to happen next.

What are your favorite roller coasters at Disney World?

Updated Columbia Harbor House Review

I recently went back to Columbia Harbor House and will be giving you my updated review!

Columbia Harbor House is a quick service restaurant which means that you order your food ahead of time and pick it up.

Pro tip: When eating at this restaurant, make sure to eat upstairs.

Downstairs it is super crowded and hard to find a seat, but upstairs it is completely empty.

My brother and I ate the Chicken Strips. You can choose what side you want and we both had green beans. This was just the right amount of food. I felt full, but not stuffed. The chicken strips were delicious and were crunchy.

My parents had the Grilled Salmon. The grilled salmon comes with green beans and rice. They also enjoyed their meal and thought it was just the right amount of food.

I give Colombia Harbor House 5 Mickey Bars! It is a great place to go when you want something a little lighter to eat.

An Activity You Did Not Know You Can Do In Magic Kingdom

No matter how many times you have gone to Disney World, there always seems to be activities that are still waiting to be discovered. Getting a Disney Silhouette Portrait is one of these activities.

In Main Street USA, there is a stand where you can get your portrait done.

You might be wondering, what is a Silhouette Portrait? A Silhouette Portrait is a portrait that an artist hand draws on black card stock. Then, the artist will cut it out and place it on a white background.

The whole process is really cool to watch and how many people can say they have gotten a silhouette portrait from Magic Kingdom?

There is also almost never a line for this activity, so you will not have to wait long. The process also does not take long. You will have to sit for two minutes so the artist can draw and then you will have to wait a couple minutes for the portrait to be cut out and mat.

We got our own silhouette portrait and it is hanging on the wall in our house.

Make sure to try this activity in Magic Kingdom!

TRON Lightcycle / Run Review

TRON is a brand new ride in Magic Kingdom that opened last month.

On this ride, you will join Team Blue and go on a race against Team Red. It is one of the fastest rides at a Disney park and is based off of TRON Lightcycle Power Run in Shanghai Disneyland.

I was a little nervous to go on this ride because I did not know what to expect, but I ended up loving it. The ride does not have many drops. TRON is very fast and in the beginning of the ride, you go outside.

What I found very interesting is how you have to put your backpack away in a locker room before riding TRON. This is the only ride at Disney World where you have to put your backpack in a locker room.

Something that is really weird about this ride is the vehicle. The vehicle that you get on, to go on this ride, is like a bike.

I give TRON Lightcycle/ Run 4 Mickey Bars! If roller coasters are your thing then you should ride TRON. You will love the speed and mystery of what will happen next.

My only problem was that I did not understand what exactly was going on. The story was very confusing and hard to keep up with.

This Rides Theme Song WILL Get Stuck In Your Head

You probably read the title and are now wondering which ride is this? I will give you a hint.

I am talking about “It’s A Small World” in Magic Kingdom!

On “It’s A Small World”, you will go on a boat ride as you see children from all over the world sing the song “It’s A Small World”.

The entire ride you will hear the children sing the same song and it will most definitely get stuck in your head.

I do enjoy this ride because I like to see all the different clothes that the children wear and I like how positive this ride is.

“It’s A Small World” is also a classic Disney World ride and I would recommend going on it during your Disney World trip.

I just wanted to warn you before riding “It’s A Small World” that it has a song that you will be humming to yourself the rest of the day.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Teppan Edo

Izzy: Which park do you like better, Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom?

The Safari

Izzy: When we went to Disney last year, we stayed at Boardwalk Villas, Bay Lake Tower, Saratoga Springs and The Riviera, which hotel was your favorite?
