First, we tried the Candy Jar Donut. That is a donut with M&M’s, SNICKERS, and TWIX. I did not like this donut because the donut had too much sugar. I think I would have liked the Candy Jar Donut better if it only had M&Ms or only had SNICKERS or only had TWIX.
Then, we had the Chef’s Donut of the Day. (Note: I got the Lemon Blueberry Donut in July 2021, so when you get the Chef’s Donut of the Day it will not be the same as mine.) It was delicious! You can really taste the lemon in this donut.
During the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, you can take part in many activities, including Emilie’s Fromage Montage!
Emilie’s Fromage Montage is a cheese crawl where you have to find the cheese dishes listed to earn a prize. The cheese dishes can be found at different food booths through out the World Showcase. When you find each cheese dish, don’t forget to ask a Cast Member at each food booth to stamp your book. These dishes include:
The Griddled Cheese at the Greece booth
Schinkennudeln at the Germany booth
Crispy Barbecue Pork Rinds at The Swanky Saucy Swine booth
Passion Fruit Cheesecake at the Hawai’i booth
The Corned Beef Corner Route at The Flavors from Fire booth
Once you have found all five cheese dishes, you will go to Shimmering Sips for your prize! You will get a souvenir cup with ice cream and pieces of cheesecake inside!

First, we had the Taco de Ribeye. That is a shaved ribeye with red onions and poblano peppers on a corn tortilla with salsa, cotija cheese, and chives. If you are a fan of tortillas, you will enjoy this dish!
Next, we tried the Chilaquiles con Chorizo. That is crispy corn tortillas with salsa verde, monterey jack, and topped with crema Mexicana, Queso Cotija, pickled onions, and ground chorizo. It was delicious! All the different flavors tasted really good together, but I liked the Taco de Ribeye more.
I give the Mexico booth 5 Mickey Bars! If you are heading to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, you should definitely try this booth!
It’s time to interview my eight year old brother, Al!
Izzy: Hi Al! Is it ok if I interview you again?
Al: Yes I guess.
Izzy: What was your favorite new ride in Disney World?
Al: Rise of the Resistance.
Izzy: We went to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival for the first time in August. What was your favorite food booth?
Al: I want to say Germany, but Morocco had more food that I liked, so Morocco.
Izzy: Is Epcot still your favorite Disney World park?
Al: That’s hard. Yes!
Izzy: Can you rank your top five favorite rides at Disney World?
Al: Rise of the Resistance, Pirates of the Caribbean, Test Track, Dinosaur, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Nothing can stop us now! I don’t know how!
Izzy: What is your favorite restaurant at Disney World?
Al: I don’t really have one.
Izzy: Which park do you like better, Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom?
Al: Animal Kingdom has a better ride, but Magic Kingdom is better to me.
Izzy: What is the better ride in Animal Kingdom?
Al: Dinosaur.
Izzy: What is your favorite thing to watch on Disney+?
Al: Luca. I really liked that movie.
Izzy: When we went to Disney World in August we stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Art of Animation. Which resort did you like better?
Al: Animal Kingdom Lodge because it has animals.
Izzy: Which was your favorite Marvel show: WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, or Loki?
Al: You said Loki and thinking about everything, I think Loki.
Izzy: Who is your favorite Marvel character?
Al: Spider Man.
Izzy: What is your favorite snack at Disney World?
Al: The Mickey Mouse soft pretzel.
Izzy: We tried Everglazed and Gideon’s for the first time in Disney Springs. Which one did you like better?
Al: Everglazed. I didn’t really like Gideon’s cookies. It was surprising.
Izzy: What is your favorite pavilion in Epcot?
Al: Italy because I am half Italian.
Izzy: You finally got to do Slink Dog Dash! Did you enjoy it?
Al: Kind of. It was a good ride, but I wouldn’t say it makes my top five.
Izzy: Thank you for letting me interview you again!
I will warn you that the France booth is a VERY popular food booth and it will have very long lines. My advice would be to go to the France booth early so you don’t have to wait in a very long line.
Here is a picture of the menu:
First, we tried the Beignet aux Trois Fromages. That is a warm beignet filled with three cheeses. I was disappointed in this dish. The cheese just didn’t taste that good.
My parents tried the Coq au Vin, Pommes Dauphine. They enjoyed it.
