Appleseed Orchard is a great booth to visit because it is indoors!
Here is a picture of the menu:
Appleseed Orchard is located where the O’Canada! show usually plays which is disappointing because the O’Canada! show is not running now.
I had the Frozen Apple Pie. I was nervous that I would not like it since I am not a fan of apple pie, but I enjoyed it because it doesn’t taste like apple pie! It tastes like a refreshing apple smoothie.
Al had the Cinnamon Apple Cider. He really liked it. Al said that the Cinnamon Apple Cider tastes like apple juice.
We tried the Schinkennudeln. That is pasta gratin with ham, onions, and cheese. I did not like it because I do not like onions and you can taste a lot of onions in this dish. If you do like onions, then you should try this dish.
Then we tried the Roast Bratwurst. That is a sausage in a pretzel roll. The sausage was outstanding. I also liked how it comes in a pretzel roll instead of a regular roll because it gives the dish more flavor.
For dessert we had the Apple Strudel. I did not really like it because it tasted like apple pie and I don’t like apple pie.
Tangerine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina is the Morocco booth.
Here is a picture of the menu:
If it’s raining you should go to this booth because it is located indoors.
You can buy Fresh Orange Juice at this booth.
We had the Stone-baked Moroccan Bread with Hummus, Zaalouk, and Zhoug Dips. We really liked the dips.
We tried the Lamb Kebab. I really liked how the Lamb Kebab was spicy. Al Recommended: Al loved the Lamb Kebab so much that he returned to get another one.
The Chicken Kebab also tasted really good. If you don’t like spicy foods I would recommend getting this.
For dessert, we had the Pistachio Cake. It is delicious! I was worried I wouldn’t like it because it has pistachios in it, but I was wrong.
I would give Tangerine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina 5 Mickey Bars!
We tried the “Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon that has a Truffle-Butter Sauce. This is the same filet mignon that is served at Le Cellier, the restaurant in the Canada pavilion.
We didn’t like it. The filet mignon was too chewy and we had to ask for a second piece.
The second food we tried was the Canadian Cheddar and Bacon Soup. It also comes with a pretzel roll. It was outstanding! The soup tasted really good with the pretzel roll and you can taste the bacon and the cheddar from the soup.
We tried the Mezzelune Croccanti. That is ravioli filled with mozzarella with pomodoro sauce. You get a mounthful of cheese and that is why it’s so good!
We also tried the Ravioli. This dish is grilled chicken ravioli. I really liked how you can taste the chicken in this dish.
For dessert we had the Bomboloni. That is a cream filled doughnut. You can really taste the cream throughout the doughnut and the raspberry sauce on top brought some more flavor.
I give the Italy booth 5 Mickey Bars! Everything at this booth was delicious!
The Greece booth is located between the Morocco and Japan pavilions. Here is a picture of the menu:
Emile’s Fromage Montage is a scavenger hunt where you are looking for the five cheese dishes listed to get a prize at the end. One of the dishes is the Griddled Greek Cheese which is at this booth!
The Griddled Greek Cheese was really good because of how cheesy it was.
Then, we tried the Spanakopita. When you bite into it, you get a mouthful of cheese and spinach. I would really recommend trying it.
The last food that we had from the Greece booth is the Lamb Moussaka. The top part of the dish has a layer of cheese and underneath is the lamb.
I would give the Greece booth 5 Mickey Bars! Everything was delicious!
First, we tried the Crispy-fried Pepper Shrimp with spicy sichuan noodles. This dish is spicy so if you don’t like spicy foods you might want to skip this dish. I really liked how spicy it was and the spice on the shrimp made the shrimp delicious.
Then, we tried the Pan-fried Chicken Dumplings with House-made sweet-and-spicy sauce. The dumplings had a nice crunch to them.
My favorite food from the China booth is the ZiRan Beef Bao Bun. That is a grilled beef with cumin. When you bite into the bao bun, it’s really soft. I loved it so much that I forgot to share it with the rest of my family.
I give the China booth 5 Mickey Bars! We all agreed that the food was delicious and we all wanted to go back to get seconds!
