Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera Review

Topolino’s Terrace is located in Disney’s Riviera Resort. We went here for breakfast and today I will be telling you what it was like.

At Topolino’s Terrace you can take pictures with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. They are also in outfits that you will only find them wearing at Topolino’s Terrace!

We were first given a pastry basket. This basket had croissants, apple turnovers, and chocolate chip muffins. It also came with chocolate hazelnut, jam, and honey butter spreads.

I had the chocolate chip muffins and they were delicious. My favorite part about these muffins were the chocolate chips.

The Apple Turnover was pretty good. I am not a big fan of apple turnovers, but I enjoyed this one.

Now, lets move on to our meals!

I had the Sour Cream Waffles. You can choose to get either bacon, ham, sausage, or plant based sausage with the waffles. I had the ham. These waffles were really good, but my only problem was that there was too much cream on my waffles.

My dad had the Fruit Plate. The fruit plate has fresh fruit, yogurt, and seed granola. He thought it was delicous.

My brother had Mickey Waffle Dippers from the kids menu. This meal comes with two sides and he chose eggs and sausage as his sides. He thought that it was really cool how he could dip his waffles into the syrup.

He also had toast.

My mom had Two Eggs -Any Style. Her meal comes with a choice of bacon, ham, sausage, or plant based sausage. She chose sausage. She thought her food was good.

The coolest part about Topolino’s Terrace is the terrace.

You get a great view!

I give Topolino’s Terrace 4 Mickey Bars!

Interview with a 9 Year Old

It’s that time!

Izzy: What was your favorite new ride in Disney World?

Al: Guardian of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind because I like the songs that it picks and it is super smooth and a great ride on its own.  I like roller coasters and if you like roller coasters it’s a great ride to do.

Izzy: Is Epcot still your favorite Disney World park?

Al: Yes, because I like the World Showcase and eating all the different food they have and also they have some great rides like Guardians of the Galaxy, Test Track and Spaceship Earth.

Izzy: Can you rank your top five favorite rides at Disney World?

Al: Oh yeah, that’s easy. #5 Dinosaur, #4 Pirates of the Caribbean, #3 Test Track, #2 Rise of the Resistance, #1 Guardians of the Galaxy.

Rise of the Resistance

Izzy: What is your favorite restaurant at Disney World?

Al: Definitely Teppan Edo because they cook the food in front of you and it is cool to see them do all those tricks in front of you. And I love their shrimp.

Teppan Edo

Izzy: Which park do you like better, Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom?

Al: Definitely Magic Kingdom.  There are more rides and it is more of the original park.  It is really cool to see the animals up close in Animal Kingdom, but they don’t have as many rides that I like.

Izzy: What is the best ride in Animal Kingdom?

Al: Dinosaur but I really like the Kilimanjaro Safari too.

The Safari

Izzy: What is your favorite thing to watch on Disney+?

Al: That’s difficult.  Probably The Mandalorian because it is so well done and everybody loves Grogu.

Izzy: When we went to Disney last year, we stayed at Boardwalk Villas, Bay Lake Tower, Saratoga Springs and The Riviera, which hotel was your favorite?

Al: Boardwalk Villas because you can walk to Epcot or Hollywood Studios and when you leave the hotel you are on the boardwalk and there are lots of dining options nearby.

The lobby of The Boardwalk

Izzy: Last year, we went to the pools at Bay Lake Tower, Saratoga Springs and The Riviera, which pool was your favorite?

Al: The Riviera, the slide at that pool was so good!

Izzy: Who is your favorite Marvel character?

Al: Still Spiderman.

Izzy: What is your favorite snack at Disney World?

Al: The Mickey pretzel is still my favorite.

Izzy: Last April we went to Universal Studios, what was your favorite ride?

Al: Hagrids because it is a smooth roller coaster with no bumps in it and I like how it goes around and you see different animals in the Harry Potter world, but I also like Spiderman a lot.

La Hacienda de San Angel Review

I ate at La Hacienda de San Angel for the first time on my last trip to Disney World and I can not wait to review it for you!

The inside of the restaurant has a lot of sunlight.

My parents had Flautas. Flautas are tortillas that are filled with chicken, potatoes, cheese, and Ranchera Sauce. They thought their food was delicious.

I had the Queso Fundido. You can also get this dish at San Angel Inn. Queso Fundido is probably one of my favorite dishes in all of Disney World. It is melted cheese with chorizo (type of pork sausage), peppers, and onions.

It comes with flour tortillas, so you can make it into a tortilla!

My brother got the Chicken Tenders from the kids menu. He loved his food. It also came with green beans and apple slices.

I give La Hacienda de San Angel 5 Mickey Bars!

My Favorite Restaurant In Every Disney World Park

Today we will be talking about my favorite restaurant in every Disney World park.

Let’s start in Magic Kingdom. My favorite restaurant is Be Our Guest. At this restaurant, you get to eat at Beauty and the Beasts castle.

I really love how you feel like you are actually in Beauty and the Beasts castle.

In Epcot, my favorite restaurant is La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico pavilion. I went to this restaurant for the first time on my last trip to Disney World. I have not reviewed it yet, but I will.

You might be wondering, why do I like this restaurant better than San Angel Inn? The reason is because while San Angel Inn is very dark and it’s hard to see your food, La Hacienda de San Angel has a lot of natural light from outside. My favorite dish from San Angel Inn, Queso Fundido, is also at La Hacienda de San Angel.

At Hollywood Studios, my favorite restaurant is Hollywood and Vine. Here you will be able to meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto for lunch and dinner. Hollywood and Vine has five different themed dining experiences. These include Silver Screen Dining, Springtime Dine, Summertime Dine, Halloween Dine, and Minnie’s Holiday Dine.

I think Hollywood and Vine is a great way to meet the characters at Disney World.

Finally, we have Animal Kingdom. My favorite restaurant is Yak and Yeti. This restaurant has delicious food and I also love how much detail was put into the way Yak and Yeti looks.

My favorite types of restaurants at Disney World are the ones where you have to come back a couple of times because of how much detail was put into it.

Now you know my favorite restaurants at Disney World!

Cinderella’s Royal Table Review

In Magic Kingdom, you can eat inside Cinderella’s Castle!

First, you take a picture with Cinderella and then you go upstairs where you will eat. Usually, you get to take pictures with Disney princesses while you eat but because of COVID, there were no princesses to take pictures with us while we ate.

I had Sliced Apples.

Al had Bite-sized Cheddar Cheese and Grapes from the Kids Appetizers.

My mom had the Castle Salad as her appetizer. The salad has romaine, brussel sprouts, citrus, and funnel that has a passion fruit vinaigrette.

I had the When Will My Life Begin Chicken and Pasta. This meal is for the 50th Anniversary at Disney World, so it is a limited time dish. The pasta was delicious and I especially liked the Pine Nut Pesto.

My mom had the Magic Carpet Ride. That is a spice-crusted pork tenderloin, pork belly with curry couscous, glazed carrots, and a peppercorn Flying Carpet. She liked her food.

Al had the Chicken Nuggets from the kids menu that come with a choice of two sides.

My mom had The Clock Strikes Twelve. The Clock Strikes Twelve is a dark chocolate mousse and it is served with chocolate sauce and hazelnut gelato. My mom asked for hers without a chocolate saucce.

Al had The Sword in The Sweet. That is a cookies and cream cheesecake mousse with chocolate cookie crumble topped with crispy pearls and a cookie sword. I also tried some of his dessert and I would recommend getting it.

I would give Cinderella’s Royal Table 3 Mickey Bars. The whole point of eating at Cinderella’s Royal Table is to be able to look out the windows at Magic Kingdom. We were not able to do that because we were seated in the back and we were staring at a wall the whole time while we were eating.

Le Cellier Steakhouse Review

Le Cellier is a steakhouse that is located in the Canada pavilion.

I really like the way the inside of the restaurant looks.

First we were given three different types of bread. There was white bread, pretzel bread, and a whole wheat bread.

We were also given butter for the breads. I thought the pretzel bread was delicious and did not need butter.

My dad and I had the Le Cellier Filet Mignon with truffle-butter sauce on the side. This is the steak that made this restaurant so popular. My dad and I really like Filet Mignon, so we enjoyed our meals.

Al had Seared Salmon with carrots and green beans from the kids menu. He loved his food.

My mom also had the Le Cellier Filet Mignon except she had truffle-butter sauce on her food. She thought it was delicous.

I give Le Cellier 4 Mickey Bars! While our food was good, we were seated in the corner of the restaurant next to a wall, so I could not see anything while I was eating. Our food also took a long time to arrive.

Be Our Guest (Lunch) Review

If you have been reading my blog for a while then you know that Be Our Guest is one of my favorite restaurants in Disney World! My favorite thing about this restaurant is how you can eat in Beauty and the Beast’s Castle.

You can choose to eat in either three different rooms: the Beast’s room, the ballroom, or the library. We ate in the Beast’s room.

I was curious about eating in the Beast’s room because I have eaten in both the library and the ballroom before, but never the Beast’s room. The Beast’s room does not have as much lighting as shown in these pictures because my phone lightens pictures in dark rooms automatically. I just want to warn you because if you are someone who doesn’t really like the idea of eating in the dark, then you might want to choose one of the other rooms.

This room is really cool because there is a painting of a prince, but then when you hear the sound of thunder through out the room, the picture changes to a picture of the Beast.

Picture of the prince.

You can also see the rose hidden under glass in the Beast’s room.

Now, let’s talk about the food at Be Our Guest! At Be Our Guest you are given an appetizer, entree, and a dessert trio. First, we were given bread and butter.

My appetizer was Meat and Cheese. I was not the biggest fan of it because I did not like most of the cheeses.

My parents had the Country Seasonal Salad as their appetizer.

Al’s appetizer was the Fruit and Cheese Plate from the kids menu.

For my entree I had the Center-Cut Filet Mignon. I asked for no potatoes and mushrooms. I like filet mignons, so I liked this dish.

My dad also had the Center-Cut Filet Mignon. He also thought it was really good.

My dad had Poulet Rouge Chicken. She asked for it without bread pudding. She really liked his chicken.

Al had the Pan-seared Chicken Breast from the kids menu. He enjoyed his food.

The dessert trio on the adult menu comes with a Lemon Jam Macaron, a Chocolate Tart (the Chocolate Tart has the grey stuff in it!), and a Dark Chocolate Truffle. All three of these desserts were delicious! My favorite was the Chocolate Tart because the grey stuff tasted really good. I also loved the filling in the Lemon Jam Macaron. My only problem with the Dark Chocolate Truffle was that it was too much chocolate.

The dessert trio from the kids menu comes with a macaron, grey stuff, a white chocolate cup, and a chocolate truffle. The frosting on Al’s plate is also edible.

I give Be Our Guest 5 Mickey Bars!

Rainforest Cafe Review

Rainforest Cafe is located just outside of Animal Kingdom.

Once you walk inside, there is a lot of merchandise you can buy.

The cool thing about this restaurant is that you feel like you are in a rain forest.

There are fish tanks too!

I had the Chicken Quesadillas. I really like quesadillas, so I enjoyed my food.

My parents had the Rainforest Burger. It has American cheese, lettuce, an onion, tomato, a pickle, and broccoli. They liked it.

Al had the Python Pasta. He likes his pasta with butter. He enjoyed his food.

I give Rainforest Cafe 3 Mickey Bars. I was not very impressed. It took forever to get our food and that is what I feel like ruined the whole experience.

The Artist’s Palette Breakfast Review

The Artist’s Palette is located in Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa and today I will be reviewing it for you!

I went to The Artist’s Palette two times, for breakfast and for lunch. Today, I will be telling you my experience at The Artist’s Palette during breakfast.

We were given our food on a tray.

I had the Croissant Sandwich. The Croissant Sandwich has eggs, cheese, and bacon in a croissant. I was given maple syrup, but I did not use it. The croissant tasted really fresh.

My mom had the Country Breakfast Wrap. The Country Breakfast Wrap has scrambled eggs, onions, peppers, breakfast potatoes, sausage, cheddar, and salsa. She thought it was delicous!

Al had the Mickey Waffles on the kids menu. His meal came with a sausage. He liked his food.

My dad had Yogurt Parfait and Fresh Fruit. He thought the yogurt and fruit were good.

I give The Artist’s Palette 5 Mickey Bars!

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Review

Homecomin’ is a restaurant located in Disney Springs.

Homecomin’ serves Southern style food. The chef, Chef Art Smith, used to be Oprah Winfrey’s personal chef.

I had the Chopped Pork Barbecue. That is chopped pork barbecue with sweet and spice barbecue sauce, mac and cheese, Southern slaw, and a cheddar drop biscuit.

This was a lot of food! After we finished eating, I felt completely stuffed. I think I would have enjoyed this meal more if there was less food. The mac and cheese had too much cheese and the mac and cheese was too big.

Al had the Fried Chicken Tenders from the kids menu. His meal came with chicken tenders, french fries, green beans, and carrots. He liked the way the chicken tenders tasted.

My dad had Art’s Famous Fried Chicken. The meal comes with mashed potatoes, but he asked for the mac and cheese instead. My dad was also stuffed afterwards.

My mom had the Fried Chicken Salad. This salad has fried chicken, mixed greens, pecan smoked bacon, eggs, cherry tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers tossed in dressing, croutons, and fresh herbs. She enjoyed her meal.

I would give Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ 3 Mickey Bars. We all agreed that it was way too much food.
