Have you ever noticed that the Spider-Man movies are the only movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that aren’t on Disney+?

Sony owns the rights to the Spider-Man character and the Spider-Man movies. That is why the Spider-Man movies aren’t on Disney+, but things are changing!
The Walt Disney World Company and Sony Pictures Entertainment have agreed on a multi year content licensing contract. That means Disney can add movies and shows that Sony own to Disney+ and Hulu. This includes movies like The Spider-Man movies, Jumanji, and Hotel Transylvania.

This agreement also includes theater releases from 2022-2026. This means that more titles are coming to Hulu starting in June.
